These beautiful "Bell" tents - so called, to reflect the relaxed and picturesque nature of this campsite in the North of Dordogne, come decked out with a range of sumptuous king sized bed and on the grass with double sized beds (bedding provided but please bring your own towels). Soft lighting, a unique decor and a private outdoor space provide a great place to unwind.
There are four 6m Bell Tents on grassland, accommodating 5 people each, and two 6m Bell Tents on a deck with a private jacuzzi, also accommodating 5 people.
The 6 Bell Tents combined can accommodate a maximum of 20 people in total. Please contact this campsite owner directly for further details.
The private terrace has a BBQ with all cooking equipment (charcoal available to purchase from reception), a dining area for those al fresco dining experiences and to relax a sofa complete with your very own fire pit (not permitted in high season as fire risk)... just kick back and look up at the stars!
There is a communal fridge freezer as well as a washing up area in the main site with a fully refurbished shower block.
The social area - complete with free wifi, is a great place to dine, relax and catch up with your friends or family, whilst the overground pool is the ideal cooling off point on those hot summer days! It's also the ideal space to host any kind of retreat or workshop...
Children will enjoy some den building, table tennis, as well as the woodland trails in and around the site. There is also a giant jenga and badminton rackets, swing ball and a variety of board games which will keep young and old amused!
Belair le Camping is situated in a small hamlet called Maucité, less than a mile from the village of Champagnac de Belair. The village has a small shop.
6 miles away is the beautiful town of Brantôme, dubbed the ‘Venice of France’ due to the close proximity to water and the picture perfect streets.
Bike hire is also available during your stay, to explore the neighbouring villages and restaurants.
The nearest airports are Limoges and Bergerac, only an hour from the glamping site.

Nearby
Brantôme is 6 km away, a beautiful town dubbed the Venice of the Perigord. Encircled by the River Dronne, its a popular starting point for boat trips and kayaking. Lots of restaurants in the area and 2 supermarkets. There's also a market in Brantôme on Friday mornings and another in Thiviers on Saturday mornings. The Plus Beaux village of Saint Jean de Cole is only 7 km away – the Chateau de la Marthonie and Romanesque Byzantine church sit overlooking a charming market square, with the River Cole nearby. In Villars (6 km away) you can visit the caves and buy some very nice minerals and gemstones. Or get impressed by the serene and beautiful energy around the old abbye. Visit the medieval city of Perigueux, or the more modern city of Angoulême. Or.. or... gardens, castles, caves, rivers, woods, markets and events, so much to do!
The village of Champagnac de Belair has a very good bakery and a public open air swimming pool during the summer months if the on site pool isn't big enough for you. The river Dronne is on the other site of the road to our campsite and the campsite is surrounded by forest for endless walks.
Food & Drink
It's all self catering here. The nearest boulangerie is in Champagnac De Belair. We go there every morning and we can provide your breakfast. There's also a very, very good restaurant called Moulin Du Roc , a local favourite. Large supermarkets and further bars and restaurants can be found in Brantôme. And we provide everything you need to prepare your own meal on the campsite.
