Bell tent 3 MAPLE is pitched directly onto the lovely green grass at the top of our upper camping field, with lovely views across the site - for 2024 we've changed up the tents and added a porch for storing your kit *New pics to be added from MAY 2024**
Our beautifully furnished bell tents are perfect for a family getaway with out the hassle of pitching! Complete with a picnic bench, charcoal BBQ, fairy lights and futons beds. Each bell tents sleeps up to a family of six or a maximum of four adults. Or, for those looking for a little bit of peace and quiet, why not come and stay for a nice chilled out weekend with your partner and enjoy a few nights under canvas?
The tents are fully carpeted with coir matting and have zipped windows at the base for peeking out at the views.
Bell tent MAPLE is pitched at the end of the row with Bell 1- SPINDLE and Bell tent 2 , This is the closest bell tent to The railway carriages BERNEY and RONNIE. It contains 2 double futons, and 2 foam floor beds. These bell tents have thier own little area, however if you have friends pitching thier own tents they can pitch just a few meters away. There is no parking near these tents but you can drop your kit off just a few meters away before parking

- Sleeps up to six people - (a combination of up to four adults and children under 16 - six persons or max of four adults sharing),
- Fully-carpeted with coir matting and rugs,
- Wooden picnic table provided for al fresco dining
- BBQ provided (charcoal sold separately)
- Vintage & retro furnishings, soft, solar powered fairy lights and bunting for truly boutique camping
- Bedding not provided. Please bring your own along with any cooking stuff and crockery you need
- Fire pits available to rent for just £3 per night
- Each tent comes with one parking space in our car park – additional spaces charged at £5.50 per day

We are surronded by 80 acres of gorgeous country park within the Coleman estate - there are walking trails a plenty - we are in the Bodicca way and Wherryman's Man way footpaths plus national Cycle Route One path. Whitlingham Adventure just a 3 minute walk away from site offers plenty of broad-based aquatic activities including canoeing, dragon boat hire, sailing, windsurfing. You can hire hand made canoes from Thorpe Island boats and paddle through the city, Self drive boats from Bishy barnebees, paddles boards from Norwich Paddleboard hire for water based activities. Borrow a Beryl bike from the park or head out on foot.
The Broads will be your back garden for your stay with us - you can hit the beach within 20 minutes, explore mashes and nature reserves or check out the tourist attractions such as BeWILDerwood, Wroxham, Or Great Yarmouth for seaside fun and world class circus. A must see is a trip to Winterton on Sea or Sea Palling so see our seal colonys
Norwich has attractions galore as well plenty of places to eat and drink. A vibrant and arty city - you can wander the lanes for independent shopping, catch an arthouse movie or theatre production akin to the west end, drink a rooftop cocktail or storm the castle for your fill of local history - birdwatches may be intrested to see the resident Pergrine Falcon in the catherdral tower
Food & Drink
There’s a café inside the Whitlingham Broad Visitor Centre (01603 617332) and there’s a good vegan restaurant, River Green Café (01603 622448), at the entrance to Whitlingham Lane. Norwich is a treasure trove for small bars and cafés. We particularly recommend Frank’s Bar (01603 618902) for relaxed Mediterranean-accented dining, Wild Thyme (01603 765562) for vegetarian food and St Andrews Brew House (01603 305995) for a pint.
