Moorhen cabin is suitable for year round use with central heating, en-suite bathrooms with generous showers and a lounge space. All our cabins have a kitchenette with a two gas burner, fridge and crockery for a family of 4.

Moorhen cabin is an upcycled, extra wide, steel container, the timber clad cabin is suitable for year round use with central heating, en-suite bathroom with generous shower and a lounge space with simple “scandi” style sofa. Goose has a kitchenette with a two gas burner, fridge and crockery for a family of 4. You will find everything you need to do breakfast, a simple lunch and a BBQ outside in the evening.

The cabin has a double bed and a pair of quirky 4ft wide end access bunk pods. At 4ft wide the bottom bunk could accommodate two small children with a third in the top bunk, however it’s best to bring sleeping bags to avoid arguments over the duvet!

Included in your booking:

  • Double bed & bunkbeds, including all bedding, duvets and pillows. Either bring your own towels or add a bundle of towels to hire as an extra.
  • Beds have under bed storage
  • Bunkbeds are 4ft wide with a light inside the unique space
  • Bathroom includes toilet, walk in shower, sink and towel radiator
  • 3 seater Sofa and footstool
  • Central heating radiators
  • Kitchenette including sink, fridge, 2 ring gas hob and hob kettle
  • All plates, mugs, bowls & cutlery provided

Please note: at 180cm long the bunk beds are not suitable for anyone too tall.

Prices are based on 2 adults and 2 children and includes all bedding. All guests staying in our accommodation can launch their own craft free of charge at a private launch point.

Suitable For

Want to enjoy the surroundings, but in the comfort of your own tent? We have limited camping pitches available to book with full access to our generously sized shower blocks and washing up areas, as well as the six-metre wide sunken fire pit. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate camper vans or caravans on site.

Nearby

Our park also has a Watersport Centre and Coffee House: you can hire paddle boards and kayaks, as well as get an ice-cream or enjoy a hearty breakfast or lunch overlooking the river.

You don’t need a car to enjoy the area as we are only a short walk from Manningtree train station. The perfect base to explore Flatford and Dedham Vale on foot, cycle the many miles of Suffolk cycle routes, or hire a kayak to see Constable country from a new perspective. The bustling town of Manningtree is also only a short distance away with several pubs, restaurants and bars for a more lively evening during your stay.
