Nestling on the borders of Rutland & Leicestershire, our two fishing lakes sit amongst woodland and wildlife. Three shepherds huts rest on the edge of the top lake ready for relaxation, fishing and star-gazing .
Enjoy camping in our bottom field where you can cook on open fires next to your own tent or sleep in one of our resident bell tents which are available for you to hire either furnished or unfurnished if you fancy bringing some of your home comforts with you.

Booking Policy
Shepherds Huts & Glamping: Arrival 3pm, departure 11am.
Tent Pitches: Arrival 2pm, departure 11am.
- We are unable to accommodate dogs to stay due to the fishing lakes, however well-behaved they may be
- No cars accessing the site after 10.00pm as gates will be locked
- Fires and BBQs only to be lit in the designated areas provided
- All logs (with kindling and firelighters) used for camp fires are to be purchased on site from Purple Badger
- We have a one tent per pitch policy
- There are no mains hook-ups and no caravans
- We are unable to accommodate trailer tents or camper vans
- No swimming in the lakes. They are for fishing only
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by you means that your deposit will not be refunded. All monies paid for pitches/tents/shepherds huts are non refundable.
In the unlikely event of Purple Badger Camping & Fishing Lakes needing to cancel the booking, a full refund, including deposit will be paid within 14 days of notifying you.
