The Twilight Pitch

UK England South East England East Sussex Battle Beech Estate Campsite

  • Sleeps 12 (max 6 adults, 8 children)
A tent pitch area within our beautiful woodland with your own firepit and picnic table. Bookings involving 4 or more adults must contact the office before booking please.

The Owner Says

The Twilight Tent Pitch is a recent addition to our campsite, and is proving very popular with our campers! The Twilight Tent Pitch is reached via a forest path just a short stroll from the car park for ease of access, but its location on the edge of the campsite also makes it one of our most secluded spots, with stunning sunset views across the valley. It's a large pitch with its own firepit and picnic table, and can easily cater for 4 large family tents. The nearest facilities are on The Meadow around 50-70 metres away, which has its own flushing toilets, washing-up area and water-point.

The Twilight Tent Pitch is a larger group pitch – so has minimum numbers set at peak times and weekends. In times of lower demand it will often be available to book for smaller groups, single families and couples.

Please note we usually have a minimum booking number of 8 people - adults and children - on weekends, Bank Holidays and school holidays.  At certain times, such as low season, we can be flexible so please contact us in the office to discuss.
  • You must supply all of your own camping equipment.
  • We provide washing up liquid, hand wash and body wash.
  • We have mains water taps.
  • Please note this campsite is off grid.
  • Cars may not access the campsite.
  • Sorry No Dogs or Pets are allowed.
For group booking enquiries, to book for more than 4 adults or for stays longer than 7 days, please email us info@pegsandpitches.co.uk or call us during office hours on 01273 980218, so we can advise if we have the appropriate pitch/area for you.
