The Owner Says

This Bell Tent is situated on the main field the tent has one 1 double bed, mattress and cotton sheet , additional beds are camp beds. Inside there will be bedside tables and rugs also interior and exterior lighting and a fire pit with a starter set of fuel (additional wood or charcoal available to buy at the reception) outside seating. It will of course have the now traditional bunting. You will also be able to enjoy all the added benefits of staying at Toms Field where we are so proud of our excellent reputation. These are regularly cleaned facilities including flushing toilets and extra portaloo style toilets, hot showers and washing up sinks. Drinking water at numerous points in the field and food vans arriving on Saturday night, with a mobile community shop from Woodgreen coming Saturday and Sunday mornings with fresh pastries and all basic goods. There is power for charging and use of Fridge and freezer at Reception. When reception is open we are happy to give advice on walks, trips out, take away delivers and any other questions you may have. You will not be disappointed with the spectacular views and big sky that Tom's Field commands from its high vantage point.

It’s ½ mile to Sandy Balls Holiday Park (08442 491193), home to all the extra amenities you might fancy (including a swimming pool, bike hire and children’s playgrounds). There are a number of good cycle routes running past the campsite. Bikes are generally considered the best way to make the most of the area. Keep your eyes peeled for wild ponies and deer or spot them more easily at local wildlife parks. It’s a ½-hour drive to the Beaulieu Estate (01590 614621), home to the National Motor Museum among other delights, and less to Paultons Family Theme Park (02380 814442), home to Peppa Pig World, and hugely popular with little ones.

Food & Drink

Visit The Cider Pantry (01425 402193) to sample and buy locally brewed cider or apple juice made ye-olde-worlde way. The Fighting Cocks (01425 652462) is a hop and a skip away with outdoor seating and piled-high plates of usual to unusual pub fare, such as New Forest faggots and mash and spicy New Orleans jambalaya.
