Welcome to Wylde Valley Camping! We are a new low-frills campsite for lovers of trees, countryside, starry skies, peaceful surroundings, wildlife and nature.

For the past 15 years, we have run large scale events, showcasing artists including Paloma Faith, Paul Weller, Rag’n’Bone Man, Fatboy Slim, and Chase and Status, to name a few - and an annual 3 day music festival called Leopallooza! So we have plenty of experience catering for thousands of campers a year.

In 2021 we expanded and upgraded our camping areas to include stone tracks, brand new flushing toilets, hot showers, wash basins and washing facilities. We are also organising our camping areas into spacious designated pitches, and are taking our bell tents to the next level, building each its own wooden deck, and furnishing to a higher standard than ever seen before at our events.

Nestled in the hills, overlooking an area of outstanding natural beauty - Wylde Valley sees spectacular sunsets, starry skies, and is an easy distance from Cornwall’s most beautiful beaches. We are also a stone’s throw away from the moors, and several National Trust Heritage sites, as well as historic towns and villages.

Pitches

116 pitches, including 13 standard pitches with electrical hookup, eight large pitches, and four large pitches with electric hookup. A separate Bell Tent Village with 18 bell tents (sleeping up to four adults and two children each).

Booking Policy

  • Please add your car registration when booking
  • Check in time is between 2pm - 5pm
  • Check out time is 11am on the day that you are leaving
  • Sorry, we don't allow dogs or any other pets
  • Vehicle movement on the campsite is prohibited after 9pm, after this time you will need to park in our nearby car parking area
  • We politely request that noise is kept to a minimum between 10 pm and 9 am
  • No large groups of adults / stag or hen weekend parties please
  • Leave No Trace - We pride ourselves on being as eco-oriented as possible, with sustainability at the centre of the ways we operate. Please recycle wherever possible, and leave no litter behind
  • Bell tent bookings include furniture, bedding and towels. They also include a fire pit and your first bag of firewood - you may wish to bring food/cooking equipment with you if you plan to cook

Cancellation Policy

To cancel your booking, you will need to contact Wylde Valley Camping directly. If we receive this notice 28 days or more before the date your booking starts, we will refund all the money you have paid. If we receive the notice less than 28 days before the date the booking starts, we will charge you 50% of the full amount for the accommodation. If we receive your cancellation at seven days or less before the booking starts we will be unable to offer a refund. Wylde Valley Camping, therefore, recommends that a personal holiday cancellation insurance policy be taken out.
