Your own private pitch, mowed into 6 acres of hay meadow. Each secluded spot consists of a 10m circle surrounded by waist-high native grasses and wildflowers, accessible via torch-lit winding paths. For up to 6 people, OR up to 2 small tents. If you have more than 6 in the group or more than 2 tents, please select XL Pitch in 'Extras'.
The Owner Says
Parking is in one central area to keep the meadow beautifully quiet and undisturbed, and pitches are walk-on only. Tall grasses and wide spacing create a private area for you to enjoy in peace. A wheelbarrow is available to help you transport your camping kit to your pitch, and we have everything you need for the perfect camp fire.
Facilities are basic but clean, with a smell-free composting toilet and copper sink for ablutions and washing up. The meadow offers an escape from the crowds - expect dark, starry nights and an abundance of wildlife. The whistle of the steam train can be heard through the Purbeck valley, and both Swanage and Corfe Castle can be reached in under ten minutes by car, under an hour on foot via a stunning hilltop walk along Nine Barrow Down.
We have a number of world-class beaches, coastal walks and historic attractions only a stone's throw away, yet Threshold Farm feels secretly tucked away.
For groups of more than six, or those wishing to bring multiple small tents, please select the 'XL Pitch' option in 'Extras'.
We offer a fresh bakery delivery service every morning between 08:00-09:00 (09:00-10:00 on Sundays).
If you wish to hire a fire pit kit, please select this at check out.
Check in is between 12:00 and 18:00, and late check ins may be possible - please call before making your booking to confirm, and choose this option in 'Extras'.
Early check in from 08:00 is also possible.
Check out is 11:00 - choose late check out if you need more time.

Suitable For
There are 10 mowed pitches available for tent campers.For the off-gridders among us, we have 4x4 adventure pitches available, for those with capable vehicles.
Dogs are welcome, provided they are kept under close control to protect our native wildlife.
For groups who require a larger pitch - whether for more than six people, or for multiple tents, please select the 'extra large' pitch option in 'extras'.
