For those with more capable vehicles, seeking total privacy and seclusion. Large, mown pitches surrounded by tall native grasses and wildflowers. Complete peace, with plenty of space to roam, enjoy a campfire, a sunset, a starry night, and an abundance of wildlife all around you.
The Owner Says
Facilities are basic yet clean, with a smell-free composting toilet and copper sink for ablutions and washing up. As you'll be a greater distance from the facilities than tent campers, you may want to be more self-sufficient.
Each pitch has space for up to two 4x4s, but please select the 'Extra Car' option in 'Extras' if you wish to bring a second.
We have everything you need for the perfect campfire, with fire pit kits available to rent, including a heatproof mat, raised fire bowl, logs, kindling, fire lighters and extinguisher.
A fresh bakery delivery service is available every morning from 08:00-09:00 (09:00-10:00 on Sundays).
The whistle of the steam train can be heard through the Purbeck valley, and both Swanage and Corfe Castle can be reached in under ten minutes by car, under an hour on foot via a stunning hilltop walk along Nine Barrow Down.
We have a number of world-class beaches, coastal walks and historic attractions only a stone's throw away, yet Threshold Farm feels secretly tucked away.

There are 10 mowed pitches available for tent campers.For the off-gridders among us, we have 4x4 adventure pitches available, for those with capable vehicles.
Dogs are welcome, provided they are kept under close control to protect our native wildlife.
For groups who require a larger pitch - whether for more than six people, or for multiple tents, please select the 'extra large' pitch option in 'extras'.
