Wookey Farm

Wookey Farm campsite is situated near the famous Wookey Hole Caves, in the sister village of Wookey. The level 2.5 acre site is part of a small family-run goat farm, where children can pet the animals and campers of all ages can learn about the day-to-day running of a dairy goat farm. We also have lambs, donkeys, rare-breed pigs and piglets at certain times of the year.

The site is quiet and spacious with a large grass area in the middle and has stunning views of the Mendip Hills. The river Axe runs through the next field and campers are welcome to paddle and relax along the banks of the river.

We're a low impact site and there are NO SHOWERS.

Pitches

11 large, marked pitches with electric hook ups in the first meadow, plus 4 smaller pitches without (only suitable for tents). Then around 20 unmarked pitches in the second, riverside meadow, all without electricity. 1 camping pod also available.

Booking Policy

Just a few points to remember before your visit:
  • Arrival is from 2pm,
  • Departure by 12pm please.
  • Please keep noise to a sensible level so that everyone can have a fun and enjoyable stay.
  • No stereos or amplified music please.
  • Loud talking/laughing into the late hours could drive your neighbour bonkers. Please be aware of others that may be trying to sleep.
  • We have tried to make it as easy as possible to sort your rubbish into recycling and food waste - please help us by making that extra effort to sort your rubbish and to not empty baked beans into your rubbish bins!
  • Please keep dogs under control and clean up after them.

Cancellation Policy

  • We ask for full payment at the time of booking. If you need to cancel, please give us at least 14 days notice and a 50% refund will be returned to you.
