      Pitch & Layout Information
      • Use the Google map in the 'Virtual Tour' section to zoom in and locate this pitch
      • This pitch is on the left hand side at the far end of the site. Please park perpendicular to the bank with the pitch marker for 10 in the center of your vehicles front or rear bumper.
      • This pitch is suitable for a small awning.
      • Please note that our vehicle pitches and our tent pitches are not located together.  The site is a former railway station and as such split into two distinct levels. The upper level which would have been the platform, now covered in grass is where our tent pitches are located, and then the lower level where tracks would have been now covered in gravel and  pitches for overnight vehicles.

      Electric hook up information
      • This hookup is designed for light loads and for safety are restricted to a maximum load of 10 Amps. Do not use normal household appliances like 13amp kettles as they will blow the circuit.
      • Connections must have integral RCD (Residual Current Device) and MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) IP44 Weatherproof Unit
        • Our outlets are standard blue 240v IP44 electrical connectors protected by a Residual Current Device (RCD) for safety designed to cut off the supply in the event of a fault in your connecting lead, caravan or appliance.
        • Your caravan / camping supply board must also have its own protective RCD and we recommend that you have your electrics checked by a qualified electrician each year.
        • Use only approved cables and run cables around the edge of the field away from vehicle or walkways.
        • If you connect two cables together the joint should use approved connectors, covered against rain and supported off the ground.
        • Each hook up point has 4 sockets providing 4 pitches with electricity. Some pitches are farther from the hook up socket. We advise bringing cables of 25m in length which will more than cover any EHU distance to pitch.
