Nantgwynfaen Organic Farm

Nantgwynfaen Organic Farm is a working farm set in beautiful West Wales. Here is a place where you can experience peace and tranquillity – unwind surrounded by green fields, with wonderful views. There is birdsong all day and a dark sky at night to observe unpolluted heavens. Just a short drive will take you to the dramatic coast of Cardigan Bay with its magnificent sandy beaches, the coastal path and Bottlenose Dolphins. Drink at local microbreweries, eat wood-fired pizzas, walk to the gin distillery and cheesemaker. The farm itself prides itself on its green credentials and award-winning accommodation.  There is a games barn with table tennis and pool table – a refuge from the elements, and a cool space when it is sunny.  The farm shop is stocked with local organic produce and homemade bread to order. 

Picture yourself gathered around a campfire on a warm summers evening surrounded by ancient ash trees.  Look up and watch the swallows, red kites, buzzards and later on the bats and owls.  With just the scent of roses and honeysuckle and wood smoke what more could you want. Isn’t it everyone's dream to find such a place where you can be alone in a secluded glade with only your friends and family?  Walks from the doorstep around the lush 60-acre farm, climb Mary’s hill, find the dingly dell, pooh corner and the sound of music trees and help collect the eggs. 

Stay in a variety of accommodation.   What home comfort tickles your fancy?  Would it be a romatic cosy wooden Cabin - Ty Mamgu (sleeps 2 and up to 2 children can stay but bring camping beds with you), Grandma's house with a retro feel, The little Parlour (Sleeps 2) in the farmhouse with it's own cute kitchen; perhaps you would like to lie on a piano bed in Ty Nodyn (Sleeps 3 + 1), where there is a wildly quirky musical theme or snuggle up with Welsh bankets in the Glamavan (sleeps 5) the retro static caravan which is full of character.  There is a second room in the farmhouse, The Room At The Top if it is just and extra room you require - but it's not just any room.

Prefer to sleep under the stars then camping at at the farm could be for you.  Only 5 grassy camping pitches with beautiful views, and quiet dark nights.  2 site are suitable for small campervans.  There are outdoor showers, firepits, compost toilets and most pitches have private facilities.
