A spacious non-electric grass tent pitch, with a designated fire pit, can accommodate either 1 large tent, 2 medium or 3 small. Please note, not suitable for roof tents as the camping field is a 'car-free zone'. Access to our well-equipped indoor kitchen, hot showers and unisex toilets.

  • PITCH DIMENSIONS: W:7.5m x L: 8m from pitch boundary to the firepit + approx. 0.5m beyond firepit.
  • LOCATION: It is situated separately from the main campsite field (which is a car-free zone) and for reference, please view campsite layout on booking page.
  • FACILITIES:
  • Indoor kitchen: Offers use of a kettle, microwave, fridge-freezer, mobile charging point, hot water washing up stations, drinking water, drying rack, recycling bins, borrower's bookshelf & games, and a notice board with local information.
  • Bathrooms: 3 unisex toilets and 3 hot showers (all individual cubicles with floor to ceiling doors & walls), 3 hand wash sinks with mirrors and 2 hairdrying stations with mirrors.
  • Fully-licensed Café & Bar: Our converted horsebox bar "The Firepit" is open Wed-Sun, 9am-9pm (closed Mon & Tues). Offers barista coffee, morning croissants & pain au chocolats, plus local ales, ciders, beers, wines, spirits, fizz, soft drinks, crisps
  • Communal Gazebo & Firepit: A covered gazebo with seating and a firepit for all weathers is situated next to the horsebox bar. Plus, picnic tables with umbrellas.
  • DOGS WELCOME: £2.00 per dog per night payable on site. Maximum of 2 dogs per pitch.
  • LOGS AVAILABLE ONSITE: £10.00 for 1 large bucket of kiln dried logs, including kindling and firelighters.

About Cosmos Camping

Suitable For

Pitches are available for tents, campervans (max. length 6m) and vehicles with roof tents.
Dog-friendly but please keep under close control onsite due to the proximity of livestock.
Motorbikes welcome.

No electric hook up, however there are extensive facilities onsite, including well-equipped kitchen with mobile charging.
No caravans or motorhomes or campervans larger than 6m in length.
No chemical disposal or water tank refill.
No guests under the age of 16.
No stags, hens or parties.
