About Heritage Coast Campsite
We have always felt extremely lucky to live on the Heritage Coast, and so some 15 years ago, we decided to open up our land so that others can visit and enjoy as well.
With initial help from Creative Rural Communities, we were able to develop a site that has, over those years, won awards, been recommended in National publications and has consistently been endorsed via word of mouth by fellow campers. We take it as a great compliment, that campers have returned again and again from not only around the UK, but from all over the world, many of whom we’ve made some great friendships with.
People like to know what to expect when they visit, and we always aspire to keep a consistently high standard for all our facilities. However, times change, and having always listened to what our customers suggest, as we head towards a semi-retirement (we enjoy what we do too much to fully stop), we’ve decided to make a few changes that will not only keep our regulars happy, but also tempt and welcome new guests.
We will continue to offer a reduced number of non electric pitches, four electric pitches and Teddy's Bar will have restricted opening times.
But we also have EXCITING NEWS.
We are making some important investments in the site. Over the years we have been asked for B&B recommendations for family members who don’t feel sleeping under canvas is right for them, so our Glamping Bell tents are going to be replaced by two new purpose built, beautiful two bedroom cottages.
They are currently being built and will be ready for our first guests in May 2023. You can be assured that they will be built and decorated to the highest standards; we cannot wait for you to see them and we will be updating this site with new pictures, as they are built.

Booking Policy
- Pitches are available from 2pm on the first day of your visit, latest arrival time is 8pm (unless by prior written arrangement). Guests must vacate pitches by 11.00am on the day of departure
- Terms: Important information: in consideration of all campers we do not accept group bookings i.e. multiple pitches a maximum of 2 pitches may be booked together subject to availability larger groups strictly by prior arrangement with the campsite
- ’Only, Fire Pits, BBQ’S and wood supplied by the campsite allowed. Strictly no disposable BBQ’s. Clients are welcome to bring their own GAS equipment.
- There should be no noise or disturbance after 10.30pm or before 7am.
- Dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead within the grounds and mess cleared up by the owner.
Cancellation Policy
All bookings include a non-refundable deposit of 50% of fees or minimum £25 whichever the greater (retained by the campsite), plus the non-refundable booking fee. No refund is payable for bookings cancelled 14 days or less before arrival date.
Cancellations made more than 3 months prior to booking date may be transferred to another booking.
