Pitch A Caravan & Motorhome Club Members Only (25 at Shortlands Farm)
UK Wales South Wales Pembrokeshire Little Haven & Broad Haven Shortlands Farm
The Owner Says
The Caravan & Motorhome Club Certificated Location (members only) at Shortlands Farm is accessed down a narrow single-lane unmade track, which our predecessors nicknamed Bumpy Lane! However the journey is worth it once you arrive and are faced with the beautiful sea views over St Brides Bay.
The grassy field is level (there is no hardstanding) and allows each guest plenty of room to have ample space of their own. There are 5 pitches in the field, lettered A to E.
Electric hook-up (approx. 10 amp) is included in the cost per night.
Just outside the field is a modern unisex toilet and shower block (3 toilets & 3 showers, 2 wash-basins both with shaving points) shared with the campers from the adjacent field. If you prefer to remain self-contained within your van you are still able to access drinking water and a chemical disposal point.
There are three outdoor sinks for washing-up.
Shortlands Farm is a family-friendly site and we welcome well-behaved dogs on leads.
We are within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and only 5 minutes from the coastal path. The dog-friendly beach at Druidston Haven is only a 15 minute walk away.
The CAMC CL (members only) has been operating at Shortlands Farm for over 25 years. We have welcomed adult members and their families who have been visiting the farm since they were children themselves. A combination of the peaceful location, the stunning sea views and sunsets, and easy access to the beaches and coast path keep visitors returning year after year.

Nearby
Access to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is 5 minutes from the farm. There are plenty of stunning beaches in the area too, with Druidston Haven the nearest, just a 10-15 minute stroll away. The medieval ruins and seaside charm of St Davids (Britain's smallest city!) is a 20 minute drive away. You'll find a wealth of aquatic activities to partake in here including coasteering, sea kayaking and, of course, surfing. For something a little more sedate, The Gallery at Oriel-Y-Felin (01437 720 386) is worth a visit, while a boat trip to Ramsey Island (01437 721 721) is also an unforgettable experience.
Food & Drink
For fish and chips, The Shed (01348 831 518) in Porthgain takes some beating. The Haven Brasserie (01437 710191) in Nolton Haven is the pick of the bunch for gastropubs with a great line in inventive dishes. The Druidstone Hotel (01437 781 221) restaurant boasts a decent menu of home-cooked dishes and some enviable views overlooking St Brides Bay, booking essential. The bar at The Druidstone Hotel is for guests and members only. MamGu Welshcakes (01437 454 369) in Solva serves delicious traditional and inventive welsh cakes, as well as dishes like cawl and their famous crempogs. For quaint little Pembrokeshire pubs, make the short trip to The Ship Inn (01437 721 247) at Solva – a CAMRA-award winning, harbourside – or The Cambrian Inn (01437 721210) also in Solva. For supplies, the nearest shop is in Broad Haven – either 5 minutes by car or a 40 minute walk along the coast path.
Family Friendly
Sea-sickness, scurvy, shark infested waters. If you're not a fan of boat trips you might not like the views at Shortlands Farm. The panoramic vistas of the sea from this laid-back cliff-top campsite are second to none. Don't worry though, you're on dry land and this campsite's not going anywhere.
