It’s a truly special experience to lie gazing up at the night sky through the central roof wheel of one of our hand-crafted traditional Mongolian yurts. Each one is a thing of beauty, they are fully furnished and comfortably sleep four, in a main double bed and two single futons, each with an extra mattress plus mattress topper for super comfort.

The Owner Says

Our handcrafted yurts have been decorated to ensure you feel at home, with solar fairy lights to add a warm glow to your evening and the wood burning stove to take the chill off the night. They come fully furnished, sleeping up to four people, with a double bed and two optional single futons which each have an extra mattress and a mattress topper for extra comfort. There's a dining table and chairs as well as storage and all the pans, crockery and cutlery you'll need.

When you step outside you will find outdoor chairs and your own covered picnic table where you can cook under the tarpaulin cover on the gas hob. A hand-forged fire pit, with a swing-arm hot-plate and BBQ rack, means you can cook your breakfast or evening barbecue and sit around the crackling fire underneath the starry Stackpole sky. We will provide you with a starter fire-pit kit, including kindling, firelighters, matches and one bag of quality local kiln-dried logs. You can buy more logs, kindling, local charcoal, lighters and matches on site as and when you need them.

Our luxurious bespoke shower and toilet pods have a real wow factor, while our little gypsy-style compost toilet is even gentler on its surroundings. There’s also a tidy wash-room with a double sink, a washing machine, tumble dryer and a small fridge and freezer. You will also find quick and easy access to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. You’ll need to bring your own towels and toiletries and we recommend bringing slippers with you to feel truly at home.

DOGS: We welcome dogs, but they must stay on a lead on the campsite as we have free range chickens (and bare-footed children). We also ask that you keep your dog off the human furniture and bedding in the glamping accommodation. Please note: there is a military range about 4 miles away from the campsite and there have been three occasions since we opened in 2017 when nervous dogs have been troubled by the sound of the occasional firing.
