The Folds at Peaks and Pods is the perfect pod to unwind and take a step back from every day life. Take in the stunning countryside views from your private hot tub with jets and LED lights. Relax on the cocoon swing seat with a good book, keeping your eye peeled for local wildlife such as deer, hares and curlews. If you're ready to explore, you'll find something for everyone in our wonderful local area.
The Hub, just off the car park, is a unique social space for all our guests to enjoy at any time of day. It features a superb pizza oven available to hire, surrounded by a wonderful, sheltered cooking area. Take in the stunning views from the wooden swing seat, gather round the large cast-iron fire pit or snuggle under a blanket to stargaze in our dark sky. With seating, lighting and heating, it's the perfect place to hang out, whatever the weather.
If you like to mooch, spend the day wandering our local market towns - Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale, Clitheroe or Skipton. If you love to explore the great outdoors, visit the stunning nearby village of Malham with its dramatic cove and tarn, the popular Ingleton Waterfalls Walk, or the river at Bolton Abbey.
We're spoilt for choice with cafes, pubs, restaurants and takeaways in our local area, all within a short drive from Peaks and Pods.
Peaks and Pods is the perfect place for cyclists, offering a bike store, bike repair stands, bike washing and laundry facilities. We'll even help you to plan the perfect day on two wheels with our selection of local routes.

Families: Create special memories that will last a lifetime. Let the children stretch their legs in the open countryside, play games at The Hub and toast marshmallows over an open fire. They'll never forget.
Friends: Meet at Peaks and Pods and spend precious time together. Cook pizzas at The Hub in our stunning pizza oven, share a few drinks in the glow of the festoon and fairy lights and rediscover your friendship.
Outdoor lovers: Explorers, cyclists, walkers, climbers and cavers will find all they need to rest and have fun after a day of adventure. Hot showers, comfortable beds, laundry and cooking facilities are onsite to help you prepare for the next day's adventures. The outdoor possibilities nearby are endless and we provide lots of information about what's on offer.
Groups: The whole site can be hired exclusively for a memorable stay. Enjoy total privacy and take over The Hub to celebrate any event, from a special birthday or anniversary to a family reunion or old uni-friends get-together. (Sorry, but we don't cater for hen or stag parties.)
Minimooners: We're a popular destination for newly-married couples who just want to nip away for a short break after their wedding. The wonderful hot tubs, with jets and LED lights, are the perfect place to toast your future together. The peace and quiet is just what's needed to come down after the excitement of the day!
Trainspotters: The famous Settle to Carlisle railway is only five miles away in nearby Settle. The lovely local station, with viewing bridge, is worth a visit. Why not hop onboard and head north through the most stunning countryside and villages?

Dogs are not allowed. (Sorry, but we can't have dogs with the farm animals nearby.)

Nearby

It's just five miles to Gisburn Forest, a Mecca for mountain bikers, perfect for an adrenaline-packed ride or a family-friendly pedal. Most trails start from Gisburn Forest Hub (01200 446747) with car park, toilets, picnic area and café. While you're there, a walk round the beautiful reservoir is a must. Excellent local market towns include Settle, Clitheroe, Skipton and Kirkby Lonsdale – all only a short journey away. Hop aboard a waggon on the Settle-Carlisle Railway (01729 825888) – England's most scenic train line is the claim – or take on the famous walking routes around Malham Cove and Tarn, where you can hop across the unique limestone rocks like a bug on giant puzzle pieces. The most hardy walkers can take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks (in a day) – Whernside, Ingleborough and Penyghent – enjoying Ribblehead Viaduct en route (a worthy landmark to walk to in itself).

Food & Drink

Eating On Site
We offer a variety of breakfast extras to add to your booking. You'll arrive to find all the ingredients ready and waiting in your fridge or storage shelves.
If you like to barbecue, we sell charcoal packs that include a large bag of quality charcoal, lighting equipment and tongs to use on the grill on your fire pit (or Weber barbecue at The Folds), or on the large Weber barbecue at The Hub.
There's also a wonderful Gozney gas-fired pizza oven available to hire, located at The Hub - our fabulous sheltered social space with seating, lighting and heat. You'll need to bring your own food and ingredients.

Eating Out
The nearest pubs that we recommend are The Plough at Wigglesworth (01729 840243) , the Craven Arms (01729 825627) in Giggleswick and both the Black Horse and Hart's Head, also in Giggleswick. They're four miles away by the main roads and The Plough's just a couple of miles away along a gated country lane.

It's four miles by road, just off the A65 before Settle.
The Golden Lion (01729 822203), just five miles from Peaks and Pods, is also popular with our guests. There's a wide range of cafes, pubs, restaurants and takeaways in Settle. Our Welcome Pack includes lots of details about places to eat and drink.
