Valley View Luxury Cabin has prime position on our site near the stream and waterfall. Valley View Luxury Cabin is designed for couples looking for a romantic Whitby break with extra space for relaxation or work.
Valley View is equipped with all the conveniences of a self-catering chalet. It has a living area with TV and DVD player, a dining area and a kitchenette. There are two gas rings, a microwave/grill and a fridge/freezer. And a basic barbecue on the porch. Centrally heated,Valley View also has a log burner for extra cosiness and a chiminea so guests can enjoy the large terrace all year round.
The luxury bathroom in Valley View Log Cabin has a monsoon hydro shower and plunge bath. We provide bedding and towels and a small welcome pack.
Parking is at the top of the hill; the walk down is about 50 metres and though there is a hand rail, it is only suitable for guests who are steady on their feet.
Minimum stay in Valley View is two nights, check in Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Though from Easter to October weekend stays are three nights.
We encourage longer stays to fully enjoy the experience of a woodland retreat.
In July and August bookings are Monday to Friday, or Friday to Monday. Or seven nights.

We are an adult only site, a romantic haven for couples, or a base for two friends to enjoy quality time together. We are particularly with popular guests who want to park the car for their stay as walks from the site include Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay circulars.Nearby
We are between the moors and the sea. The walking in the Whitby area is extensive and varied and most of our guests do not use the car during their stay. We are only two miles from the quaint and bustling seaside town of Whitby, and guests enjoy the 40 minute walk along the Cinder Track. This all weather former railway line for walkers and cyclists, leads to Whitby in one direction and Robin Hoods Bay or Scarborough in the other. Cliff tops routes are another option and the views and breathtaking.
Other iconic villages in the North York Moors National Park include Goatland of Hearbeat and Harry Pottter fame and Grosmont, the Northern terminus of the North York Moors railway one of the most popular heritage lines in the country. Leaholm is another popular destination for a day out with and mini garden centre, Poets Cottage Shrub nursery, great tearooms and good circular walks.
