Our original hand crafted timber shepherd’s huts have been built within our grounds, set in a quiet part of the garden, sleeping 2 people. Offering a comfortable cosy double bed, a wood burner stove to keep warm all made up for your arrival with enough wood and coal supplied for a minimum of two nights, (extra can be purchased from us).
The Owner Says
Each hut is set out the same with double bed, wood burner stove and fold-down table with tea lights for the evening to sit on balcony with a glass of something nice! Remember there is no electricity in huts getting back to basics with tea-light lanterns and torchlight.. Just short jump and skip over from huts shared toilet, shower and kitchen area with lights and electric plugs. The kitchen consists of a kettle, microwave, washing machine with drying pulley and fridge. Each hut has outside chairs to enjoy the outside world. The idea behind the huts is to escape the hustle and bustle of life, get back to the basics of life, but in a more comfortable surrounding than a tent.
Barbecue and fire pit is available for a warm evening watching starry night and wild life.
Please be aware linen, towels and bathrobes are provided only from 1st April to 31st October.

We are so lucky to live a quite village with church and local pub serving good food and beer only 3 miles from coast for long walks along the coastline you can walk for miles from Bamburgh down Alnmouth and 10 miles into Cheivot hills at Wooler for hill walking and 9 miles from town of Alnwick for shopping. Newcastle id 45 miles away Berwick 17 miles and Edinburgh 85 miles.
