Little Fleece shepherds hut is situated in the paddock near the farmhouse overlooking fields and trees on a working farm, complete with wood burner.

The Ridgeway National Trail is a 10minute walk away which then leads onto many footpaths. If you’re an early riser you may see the racehorses in training on the gallops.

It’s a 15min walk downhill to our village pub The Harrow in West Ilsley which overlooks the cricket field.

If you fancy sightseeing some local history Oxford is just under a half hour drive. You can go punting on the River Thames or exploring the many colleges, museums and cathedral. 

Highclere Castle which is famous for the TV series “Downton Abbey” is a 30 minute Drive.

Newbury Racecourse is a 20 minute drive if you fancy having a day at the races. We have two trainers in the village.
