Our beautiful 5m cotton canvas bell tent is one of just 10 on our campsite. Each bell tent is fully furnished and has a firepit and picnic table. Our bell tent is a comfortable living space for 4 people (they can accommodate up to 1 extra bed, subject to availability).
The Owner Says
Each 5m bell tent has:
- A groundsheet which is attached to the bell tent, on which there is a lovely soft hessian floor covering
- A rug on hessian matting
- A small table around the central pole of the bell tent
- Fully made double Z bed with pillows, a throw and cushions
- Two fully made single beds (can become sofas during the day), with throws and cushions
- Two low level bedside tables
- A super energy efficient spherelight, which can be moved to be used both inside and outside
- Larry light torch
- Metal firepit on legs
- Picnic table
We are delighted to say that there will be a central communal Tipi or Bell Tent which will open to all our campers to use during the day and evening. Inside there will be sofas and/or chairs and tables and soft lighting. Please use hand sanitiser before and after entering the communal tent.
Please note:
Linen is provided for up to four guests using the bedding provided. This comprises of a duvet, pillows (1 per person), fitted sheet, a throw and decorative cushions per bed.
The price is for 4 people. We do have a limited number of additional single fitted beds (with bedding) which can be provided for families/parties of 5, priced at £25 per bed.
Not included:
Any towels, additional blankets.
On site facilities:
A drinking water tap, toilets and showers are located on the campsite.
Our Farm Kiosk has local milk (in 1 litre bottles) and deliciously creamy ice cream (4 flavours) in small take-away pots.
Firewood is available to purchase by the sack for £7, to burn in your firepit.

Monks House (National Trust) and The Abergavenny Arms are both in Rodmell.We are on the South Downs Way - you can walk towards Eastbourne or Winchester!
The River Ouse is a short drive or a 20 mins walk through the hamlet of Southease. At the river you can launch your own paddleboard or kayak.
The beautiful Sussex Coast is very close. Newhaven is just 10 minutes drive where there are high street shops, fish and chips, a great Italian Deli and Newhaven Fort is a popular visitors attraction. Go 5 minutes further East to Seaford for a lovely wide beach, closely followed by the beauty of Cuckmere Haven and the Seven Sisters/Beachy Head; or go West towards Brighton & Hove (30 minute drive along the coast road or inland via the A27).
The historic town of Lewes is a 15 minute drive, where you can visit the Norman castle, Anne of Cleves house, or many of the independent shops, cafes and restaurants.
