About Sleep Wild
Suitable For
These luxurious cabins are ideally suited for two people but the double sofa bed can be pulled out to accommodate two more - fine for two children or one adult. Once extended the sofa bed leaves little room for manoeuvre so we recommend to only pull it out at bed time. There is plenty of room for a child’s cot. The cabins are far enough away from each other for a secluded break for two or if you are a bigger party of four or more take both cabins and use the sofa beds.Nearby
Please feel free to walk anywhere anywhere on our farm, there are wide grass margins around all the fields. Alternatively hook up with the public footpath which goes through the farm, this leads to Cropredy village or Claydon in the other direction. There are lovely walks along the towpath of the Oxford Canal or join the Jurassic Way and the Battlefields Trail. For anyone interested in racing there is the opportunity to book a morning on the gallops with Paul where you will see ‘behind the scenes’ of the racing world. Watch the racehorses on the gallops, have a tour of the stables and meet the stable stars, see the horses swim in the equine pool or watch them jump in our loose lane.
Being on the edge of the Cotswolds there are plenty of lovely villages and towns to explore: Stow-on-the-wold, Burford, Bourton-on-the-water , Chipping Campden and many more. Daylesford and Jeremy Clarkson’s farm shop are within easy reach. Nearby there are plenty of lovely historic houses and gardens. Farnborough Hall is the nearest being three miles away, Upton House, Cannons Ashby and Compton Verney are only a 15 minute drive and Broughton Castle is just the other side of Banbury. Warwick Castle and Blenheim palace are roughly a 35 minute drive but well worth a visit.
We can point you in the direction of other local activities: There are three local Golf courses at Rye Hill, Cherwell Edge and Tadmarton Heath; riding at Valley Farm Riding School; shooting clays at Honesberie Shooting School or Catanger Llama trekking at Weedon Lois.
