And to hire seperately is a Hot Tub and Sauna on a private Spa deck

The space
The Shepherds Hut is located in a field on it's own, looking out to the fields with a decking area with seats and table in front of it and there is a footpath at the edge of the property (there are lots of walks and footpaths to explore locally - a laminated sheet of some of these is in the room). As we do have other guests please respect privacy and keep to this area during your stay.

Within a minute's walk, by a picturesque lake is The Spa deck containing a Hot Tub and Sauna which are bookable for a 2 hour private session in advance. For 2 guests for the Hot Tub it is £60 and for both Hot Tub and Sauna is £80. Please ensure you bring your own towels.

The Hut is beautifully decorated inside with everything to make a short stay comfortable. The kitchen contains a toaster, kettle, gas hob, mini gas oven, cold water sink and fridge, as well as a mini dining table/ work-space.
The bed is a double with lots of storage for luggage underneath, and a twinkly mirrored ceiling above it which has fairy lights around it for the evening.
Next to it is a side table, with a bedside light, and on the side board is a projector for watching movies on the pull-down screen above the stained glass kitchen window. There is super-fast satellite Wifi for those guests who need to keep connected.

Next to the Shepherds Hut is a Bathroom Hut containing a hot shower and sink, as well as an eco toilet. There is a firebowl available to use in front of the Shepherds Hut decking, with a net of logs available to purchase for £15 per bag.
Please ensure you bring towels as these aren't provided. Bathroom hand towels and kitchen tea-towels are however.
The village of Henfield is a 20 minute walk away, and the South Downs way (5 minute walk) is an ideal cycle track, taking you towards Partridge Green in one direction and Steynning in the other.
Guest access

The Orchard around the Shepherds Hut is the outdoor space you are welcome to use. As there are 3 other guest areas, we respectfully ask that you keep to the field in front of the Shepherds Hut.When booking the Spa Deck you are welcome to use the main lawn, Spa deck and pontoon area too.

Food & Drink

  • The Royal Oak is a traditional  oak beamed pub – fantastic Sunday lunches – in Wineham also a ten-minute drive towards Haywards Heath.

For the best gastro pub head to the Ginger Fox. Only ten minutes away it is by far the yummiest in the area. However, do book first as it's popular!

  • The Wheatsheaf is newly refurbished, laid-back but still nicely styled and does excellent Brazilian food (thanks to the Brazillian Chef)!

  • West Sussex is growing in reputation for its vineyards - especially for sparkling wine. Bolney Winery and Café is open every day and you can arrange a tour, or book one of their food and wine evenings - check their  website for details and be sure to book for the tours (drop-in for the cafe).

  • POST OFFICE CAFE - High Street, Henfield BN5 9DD
From yummy filling Breakfasts, to lovely Lunches and Afternoon Tea. Also licensed for a glass of wine with lunch or fizz with breakfast!

THE BULL INN - The Bull Inn, Mock Bridge, London Road, Henfield, West Sussex, BN5 9AD
A traditional family inn, with longer opening hours than other pubs, situated just north of Henfield, known for its wide range of freshly baked gourmet (and very unusual flavoured - onion bahji and poppodum!) pizzas and spacious beer garden.

THE OLD RAILWAY - Upper Station Road, Henfield, BN5 9PJ
The closest pub from your stay, and a 10 minute walk away
