The stylish accommodation gives you a home-from-home in an idyllic converted 4-bedroom barn a delightfully playful Wendy House a super-lux Airstream and Shepherds Hut.You won't want to leave!
Staying here is like having your own private wildlife park to enjoy for the duration of your stay with wandering peacocks, chickens, ducks, geese, the occasional swan, pheasant and even resident kingfisher. There is so much relaxed enjoyment perfect for kicking back and relaxing with your friends and we specialise in providing the perfect environment for hen parties and birthday parties.
For larger gatherings over 16 guests there are additional rooms and sofa beds to accommodate up to 25 guests, and during the summer to 45 in bell tents, with the additional guests above the 16 the listing accommodates charged at £100 per person per night, please contact me directly to add bell tents to the booking.
Connecting the two main outdoor spaces is a large, entertainment courtyard with outdoor dining for up to 22 people, a bbq, pizza oven, outdoor kitchen, seating area with firebowl and ping pong table. The Spa deck boasts a 10 person Hot Tub and 6 person Sauna which also doubles up as a scenic viewing spot which you have sole access to during your stay.As is the unique party tent with bar, dance floor, music system, lounge seating and table football. This area is the cherry on top of the Wonderland cake and has to be seen to be believed!And when it's time to rest the accommodation is just as unique.
The Sussex Barn (4 bedrooms, sleeps 7) and colourful Wendy House (not so tiny! sleeps 4-6).  The unique Shepherds Hut has it's own bathroom Hut and outdoor area and our Art-deco Airstream which sleeps 2 - 4 people has been featured on TV as being an 'ultimate airstream' conversion.
We have connections to some excellent private chef's and local caterers as well as massage, pamper and well-being services to relax and enjoy during your visit.There’s something for everyone... spend an afternoon on the lake, swimming or canoeing or have a go at making it over the stepping stones and seesaw, hang out on the mini island or enjoy the Spa deck with Sauna, Hot Tub or pontoon seating area.
For those who enjoy fishing, feel free to bring your rod and nets, as the lake has a healthy population of fish (you just need to put them back afterwards). The double-decker tree-house makes a perfect viewing platform over the water and across the South Downs and if you are interested in activities, we can put you in touch with all sorts of entertainment, including:- Pampering services (all sorts of massages, yoga sessions etc)- Escape Room experience (The Hunt for the Smoking Caterpillar... very Wonderland-esque and comes highly recommended!)- High tea delivery service- Body Positive Boudoir shoot- Mask/ head-dress makingThe village of Henfield is a 15 minute walk away, and South Downs Way is an ideal cycle track (and only a 5 minute walk away), taking you towards Partridge Green in one direction, or Steyning in the other and onto Brighton if you fancy a hike.There are four main pubs within walking distance. The Old Railway - which has a beer garden and food is a 5 minute walk. The White Hart (old fashioned, local, beamed pub on the high street full of locals!), The George (Sports bar style) and The Plough (very good food but decor not amazing).

Suitable for romantic retreats for 2 in the Dome, Shepherds hut and Airstream, groups of 4 in the Wendy House, and Big groups of 12 – 16 – 55 for parties and weddings.  No age restrictions and we allow dogs with special permission.

Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens are 20 minutes away

You can see their herd of Wallabies, walk the stunning gardens, enjoy afternoon tea or dinner in their Michelin starred restaurant, and see an incredible miniature world at the Dolls House Museum.

Knepp Wildland is 15 minutes away and open all year round and is a pioneering conservation project that is an incredible success story attracting visitors globally who hope to see one of the pairs of nesting storks or the beavers that have reintroduced themselves into this wetland nature paradise.

Cider tap room near Cowfold called Wobblegate.

Mannings Heath wine tasting was recommended to me by some recent guests. You get a tour of the vineyard by golf buggy and 5 wines to taste for £20.

Food & Drink


  • The Royal Oak is a traditional  oak beamed pub – fantastic Sunday lunches – in Wineham also a ten-minute drive towards Haywards Heath.

    For the best gastro pub head to the Ginger Fox. Only ten minutes away it is by far the yummiest in the area. However, do book first as it's popular!

  • The Wheatsheaf is newly refurbished, laid-back but still nicely styled and does excellent Brazilian food (thanks to the Brazillian Chef)!

  • West Sussex is growing in reputation for its vineyards - especially for sparkling wine. Bolney Winery and Café is open every day and you can arrange a tour, or book one of their food and wine evenings - check their  website for details and be sure to book for the tours (drop-in for the cafe).

  • POST OFFICE CAFE - High Street, Henfield BN5 9DD
    From yummy filling Breakfasts, to lovely Lunches and Afternoon Tea. Also licensed for a glass of wine with lunch or fizz with breakfast!

    A traditional family inn, with longer opening hours than other pubs, situated just north of Henfield, known for its wide range of freshly baked gourmet (and very unusual flavoured - onion bahji and poppodum!) pizzas and spacious beer garden.
