About Wild Boar Wood Campsite

We think there’s something magical about Wild Boar Wood, our off-grid glamping site in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in West Sussex.

The campsite has just nine bell tents in a woodland that is filled with bluebells and birdsong in springtime. Den building is allowed, campfires are encouraged and waving at the steam trains passing on The Bluebell Railway is practically obligatory. Tent pitch camping is available at Beech Estate Campsite.

Booking Policy

  • If you are booking for more than one bell tent, please contact the office, as we may not be able to place you together without prior consultation.
  • Children are aged 3-16. Infants aged 0-2 at time of stay are free.
  • Bell tent check in time 3pm. Check-out 11am.
  • Cancellation charges will be incurred. No amplified or electronic music. Noise and behaviour policy. No dogs or pets allowed.
  • Campers in our bell tent must bring your own linen, pillows, duvets and sleeping bags, towels and tea towels.
  • All bookings of more than three adults (without children) or for more than two families must contact the office before booking. We reserve the right to cancel any group bookings made without approval.
  • For bookings of longer than 7 nights please contact the office before booking.

Cancellation Policy

  1. If you cancel more than 4 weeks before your arrival date you will lose 50% of the total payment. The remainder of any of your other payments made will be refunded.
  2. If you cancel less than 4 weeks before your arrival date you will lose your full payment.
  3. If you book via a third party organisation (such as Cool Camping) and not directly via our website they may have additional terms and conditions related to your booking. We are only able to apply our refund policy to the portion of the booking fee we receive from the third party organisation and are not responsible for refunding any of their fees, commissions or charges.
