The Owner Says
Our Long barn has been renovated to provide a unique and versatile space for both groups and families.
Here at Tremeer our ethos is about comfort, not luxury. We seek to bring families and friends closer to nature and allow opportunities to explore the outdoors. Many of our guests have commented on how enjoyable it has been to get away from the bustle of city life and connect with the outdoors. Television and technology have been replaced (but not banned!) with long family conversations, board games and treasure hunts around the farm.
The spacious 30ft open plan kitchen and living room is furnished with a large farmhouse table, comfortable sofas and bean bags. We have designed this space so that it could doubled up as space for those wanting to practice yoga or as an indoor classroom. The large South facing gabled window looks out over a patio area and the fields beyond. The Long Barn has three bedrooms and two shower rooms and offers adaptable options for up to 9 guests (8 adults plus cot) and has level access. The Master Bedroom has ensuite and can be made up as a SuperKing size bed or a twin room.
There is another twin room and a really fun bunk room which sleeps 4 people. Please speak about your individual requirements as it may be possible to add a travel cot or futons if necessary.
Our aim is to make this accommodation as flexible as possible so can be rented with one, two or three bedrooms.
The accommodation can be divided so that if it is being used by a couple they will have the use of the double bedroom and ensuite, a family of 4 will have the use of 2 bedrooms and groups of more than 4 will have the use of the entire building.
Our prices are based on up to 4 people sharing and for larger groups there would be an additional charge.
The Long Barn can be rented on its own or in conjunction with our yurts so offers the perfect mix of accommodation for extended families, allowing grandparents and even great grandparents opportunities to celebrate those really special occasions across the generations.
It also offers level access. The 2 bathrooms (one ensuite) offer shower/wet-room and toilet facilities.
Guests will have shared use of our large rustic play barn which has badminton, table tennis and a basket ball hoop.
A hit with our guests, young and old is our wood fired hot tub which is a wonderful place to relax under the stars.
