Nearby

There is plenty to see and visit nearby, we are only 25 minutes from Bude or Bideford and 10 minutes from Holsworthy. There are lots of traditional local pubs and plenty of places to eat.

We have so much on offer here in Devon and just across the border in Cornwall; depending on what type of holiday you are looking for we believe there is something for everyone.

Clovelly, Appledore and Instow are our favourite local villages which are perfect for a day trip.  They are ideal places to wonder around and absorb the local coastal community lifestyle, learn about the local history and drink in the stunning scenery. They all have sweet little pubs, cafes and restaurants, and absolutely all of them serve superb Devonshire cream teas!

If you like walking then you will love this area. You can explore the miles of paths and routes which snake the countryside and coastal areas which are all on our doorstep. Public walking routes are accessible directly from here, with various routes nearby.  The incredible South West Coast Path is just 20 minutes away from there you can access the entire 630 mile network of paths which cover the entire coast line of the South West!

If you are looking for outdoor activities then this is the place for you with all the beaches within easy reach. We have an excellent cycling route called the Tarka Trail which can be accessed from Torrington or Bideford, it follows the old train line along the river and estuary and is stunning all year round.

The  North Devon Wake Park is 15 minutes away and has a full size inflatable aqua park and cable wake boarding for the more adventurous.

If you don't fancy any of that, then no problem, we have plenty of space for you to just chill out and stay exactly where you are.
