Each pitch is vast with the feature being our stunning six-metre Yurts. Each Yurt is pitched on a sturdy wooden deck and inside have a king size bed with memory foam mattress along with two single futons for the younger campers. All bedding and linen is included. There are also woodburners installed in each yurt.
Alongside the Yurts each pitch has its own kitchen unit. The kitchens are well equipped containing a cooker with gas hob, grill and oven, kettle, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery – it's all provided. To keep things cool and fresh we provide a large coolbox. Ice blocks are supplied in the freezers and can be replaced whenever required. Attached to the side of the kitchen units is a canvas canopy so that the outside picnic table and seating is undercover.
Also provided within each pitch is a firepit and cooking frame. This can be used to either provide a magical end to an evening with a campfire or can be used as a barbecue. An initial amount of wood is provided in a log store next to the firepit.
To complete the experience there are a number of hammocks dotted around site along with dens and rope swings for the kids.
Wifi is available on site and we have charging points for phones, laptops etc...
All Yurts comfortably sleep 2 Adults and 2 Children however there is the option to add a further child for a small extra charge. Dogs are also welcome for a small extra charge. Please contact us if you require further details.

The Iron Age hill fort of Hambledon Hill is directly accessible from the site, while the ancient settlement of Badbury Rings is just 20 minutes away. Explore the area either by foot or on a bike via the North Dorset Trailway (accessible just a mile from the site). Fluxmere is an ideal base to visit many fun and interesting places from family attractions like Monkey World and Longleat to beautiful locations including Corfe Castle and the historic town of Sherborne with it's fascinating Abbey and castles. For the more adventurous of glampers there is Dorset Water Parks, Gorecombe Extreme Sports, Splashdown and many, many more places to get the adreneline pumping. Also, not forgetting the breathtaking beaches that are plentiful along the Dorset coast and the fabulous Jurrassic Coast which offers stunning walks, scenery and the opportunity to do some real fossil hunting!!!
Food & Drink
Gold Hill Organic Farm Shop sell local organic produce for you to take away and cook in your onsite kitchen. They also run an organic café providing hearty Dorset meals and a fine selection of local brews. Child Okeford boasts 2 lovely pubs that are just a short stroll from the site – The Saxon Inn and The Bakers Arms . A mobile fish and chip van stops in the village centre every Thursday. Orders can be phoned through in advance.
