We want to give all our guests an amazing experience while staying with us, therefore we have designed our site to give you the best value for money, while also offering lots of options, so you can make it the perfect break for you.

We want to take any hassle out of camping for you and so have created a 'design your own holiday' campsite.

We have grass camping pitches, camping pods, tipis, and yurts.

Utterly simple and tailor made for you

We also offer a relaxing Cookhouse for all our guests to share; there is a full kitchen, two fridges, sofas, games, books, and all sorts of other things to make your stay comfortable.

We have an amazing fully stocked Farm Shop on site with everything you need for your stay, along with a fabulous little coffee shop and a miniature old fashioned traditional sweet shop!

For children, we have 2 fantastic little play areas to keep them busy while you make supper or relax with a book!

When you arrive you'll be met by one of us and we'll show you around.  Our communal area is lit at night but our paths aren't - we're not that big though so you can't get too lost!!  Feel free to ask us lots of questions we are local and very happy to help with ideas and suggestions for days out.

 Once you're settled come for a shop to grab everything you need in our farm shop, enjoy a coffee from our amazing mechanical coffee machine, it takes a bit longer to make coffee than a big commercial machine but enjoy watching the lever slowly pour the water through the coffee, take a deep breath and relax. You're on holiday!  Let the kids loose in our miniature old fashioned sweet shop where they can weigh out some old school favourites or let them grab a milkshake for themselves with milk from our local diary whilst you shop

Booking Policy

  • Check in between 3.30pm - 5pm - Check out before 10:30am
  • Camping pitches welcome from 1:30pm by pre-appointment, arrivals between 1:30pm and 3:30pm may receive a self check in message if we aren't available due to school runs etc.
  • We do not reallocate pitches on site, we allow you to book your favourite pitch.  We do, however, reserve the right to move pitches due to adverse weather or safety concerns without notice.
  • The speed limit is strictly walking pace on site at all times. Campervans, caravans, trailer tents, commercial and twin-axle vehicles are not allowed
  • Dogs are very welcome for a £10 surcharge. All dogs must be under control and quiet at all times
  • Dogs are welcome in our units, however they must not be left in the cabins or pods unsupervised.
  • Dogs are forbidden from our beds and linen
  • Fires are permitted in the fire pits provided only - please do not light a fire on the ground
  • Bedding isn't provided in any of our units as standard so please bring your own or book our extras

Cancellation Policy


  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the holiday start date will be subject to your 30% non-refundable deposit paid
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the holiday will not be refunded
  • If you need to cut your holiday short with us after you have arrived we regret we cannot refund any money paid to us
  • Our campsite reserves the right to cancel a pitch at short notice if we are unable to provide a safe camping environment due to extreme weather conditions, ill health, fire, flooding or any other circumstances beyond our control.  Under such circumstances your full payment will be returned to you or we will try to rearrange your holiday dates.  Our campsite cannot accept liability or responsibility for any loss, including consequential loss caused by cancellation.
  • Any monies paid to The Wildings is non refundable except under owners discretion
  • We suggest you take out the necessary holiday insurance to cover any losses
