The Owner Says

This is our 19 foot British made yurt with a gorgeous oak door. The first yurt as you enter the woodland. Convenient for young families or for anyone wishing to be fairly close to the car park.

Located in a bright sunny spot with facilities close by. Bluebell tends to be a bit of a favourite with our returning guests!

It sleeps a maximum of 6 people. With a king-sized bed and 4 single mattresses that may be arranged to suit at night and piled up during the day to make a sofa space. Furnished with vintage wool rugs, sheepskins, table and stools, and a wood-burning stove in the centre. There is a strong fireguard around the wood-burning stove. Beautiful ambient lighting with fairy lights and tea light lanterns. You have a picnic table close by to your yurt, along with your own fire pit, BBQ and hammock.

(Please note:  As standard we just provide a king-size duvet, and pillows, WITHOUT COVERS - please either bring your own bed linen, or if you'd like your beds made up ready for you, select hire bed-linen at checkout).

Showers and flushing toilets are located next to the fully equipped communal kitchen, a few metres away.
A communal under canvas eating area is nearby, and the pizza oven and wood fired hot tub are available to use too. (There is a charge for the wood needed to heat the hot tub and pizza oven).

There are woodland swings nearby, and paths to explore. The site offers amazing freedom for children in a safe environment.
We are a 20 minute walk, or a 5 minute drive away, from the River Wye. Great for picnics, wild swimming, paddling, and canoeing. Hire a canoe from Hereford Canoe Hire at Tresseck in Hoarwithy, for a great day out. (seasonal)

Family Friendly

Apart from falling off a tree swing, or tripping over a guy rope, there’s little for even the most anxious of parents to worry about here. A ‘no cars inside the campsite’ policy means kids of all ages can dash about willy-nilly. Running wild in the woods, making dens, swinging on old tyres and rope ladders. Making home-made biscuits in the clay oven. Playing in the sand-pit. Pushing your friends around in a wheelbarrow.
