The Owner Says

Tawny is a large Bell Tent sleeping 4 - 5 people very comfortably.  Set in 17 acres of woodland, and on the edge of the ancient woodland, you have a private outlook into the woods, and a very secluded outdoor space, with a fire-pit, logs for seating, hammock, and picnic bench.
You have a comfortable king sized bed and 3 single mattresses on ground level, that double up as sofas when not in use . It's a beautiful light and airy space. There is a woodburning stove inside too to keep you cozy. Furnished with rugs, sheepskins, and ambient fairy lights, and tea light lanterns.
You have your own private compost toilet a few meters away from your tent.
Woodland swings nearby. Amazing freedom for children in a safe environment.
There is a fully equipped kitchen about 50 meters away, along with the hot showers, and a bathroom.  A communal under canvas eating area is nearby, and the pizza oven and wood fired hot tub are available to use too. (There is a charge for the wood needed to heat the hot tub and pizza oven). We are a 20 minute walk, or a 5 minute drive, away from the River Wye. Great for picnics, wild swimming or paddling. Local canoeing companies close by where you can hire a canoe.

Family Friendly

Apart from falling off a tree swing, or tripping over a guy rope, there’s little for even the most anxious of parents to worry about here. A ‘no cars inside the campsite’ policy means kids of all ages can dash about willy-nilly. Running wild in the woods, making dens, swinging on old tyres and rope ladders. Making home-made biscuits in the clay oven. Playing in the sand-pit. Pushing your friends around in a wheelbarrow.
