Welcome to Baleshare Bothies! We are a small family run business consisting of two cosy self-catering glamping pods situated in the peaceful crofting community of Baleshare, North Uist in the Outer Hebrides. We are located a short walk from the shore of Baleshare Beach, where there are breath-taking views all around.

Booking Policy
Arrival and Departure - Please arrive no earlier than 4pm (unless otherwise agreed) and depart no later than 10.00am (unless otherwise agreed).
Pets - Dogs are permitted to stay in our Hiort pod (a maximum of 2 dogs per stay).
Bedding and Towels - Bedding and towels are provided, however if you wish to bring your own please let us know.
Other - Baleshare Bothies is in a peaceful crofting location and we ask that you respect that. Any playing of music, singing or other excessive noise that can be heard outside of the property after 9pm is not permitted. Please also be sensitive to crofters’ crops and livestock and follow the crofting country code when walking over the land.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations will be treated based on the reason for cancellation, length of time between cancellation and your holiday, and our ability to re-let the pod(s) as follows:
Cancellation by us - you will be refunded in full. You must accept that our liability is limited to the amount of deposit/rent paid at the time.
Cancellation by you - if cancellation occurs within 14 days of arrival the full cost will be charged. We will endeavour to re-let the pod(s) on your behalf and if successful will refund the cost less the 30% deposit. If cancellation occurs out-with the 14 day period we will refund the cost less the 30% deposit.
