The Owner Says

This one-of-a-kind conversion is bright, open and cozy with a wood stove, spacious tiled wetroom with proper plumbing, kitchen with fridge/freezer and induction cooker, bedroom with king size bed plus large sofabed (sleeps 4 adults), renewed exterior lights, wifi, keypad front door lock, and even a doorbell! Everything you should need is covered, including Firewood.

The raised covered deck allows you to sit out and enjoy the view even in the rain, fairy lights make the hot tub grotto under the trees come alive at night, there's a tree hammock, badminton area, and fireside chill zone with hammock chairs around a fire bowl. And through spring and summer especially the birdsong is incredible.

About Ayrshire Airstream

Suitable For

The Airstream glade is fenced off and private from the rest of the farm so you can enjoy peace and quiet...
...though you may discover interlopers such as hens/pheasants/ducks/deer wandering through on occasion!
Guests are welcome to explore the woodland opposite the bridge but asked to otherwise stay within the glamping site.
We generally don't allow pets but if you have a dog that's small and friendly with other animals please contact us to discuss before booking as we may be able to accommodate. Children are welcome, we just remind parents that there's a stream running through the site so care must be taken.

Nearby

Although the Airstream feels a million miles from anywhere the town of Galston is a 25 minute walk away.  This can be accessed either by the dyke path where you might see hare or heron along the way, or by road past the riding stables.

Food & Drink

We love the Ayrshire Food Hub which has all sorts of local fresh produce, crafts and other products with a great cafe/restaurant we like for brunch.  Just a 10 minute drive away.  In Galston itself there's the Aroma Cafe, and for a cosy pub check out The Wee Train.  There are various takeaway options too including The Principal Cafe for fish'n'chips, Foodaholic for chinese, and the Taj for Indian.
