Craigend Farm Glamping Pods

Craigend Farm Luxury Pods are set on the outskirts of Dumfries with spectacular countryside views.   We are on a small working farm and have the benefit of being on the edge of town for local amenities.   Dumfries and Galloway is a beautiful part of Scotland with an undulating coastline of rocky shoreline and sandy beaches, whilst inland, there are acres of forest and green spaces.   Our central location makes us an ideal base to explore the area.   Dumfries town is steeped in history and is a perfect base for Robert Burns enthusiasts.

The pristine pods have a tremendous amount cleverly packed into them: each has a king-size bed, a sofa for chilling  and a fully fitted kitchen with all crockery and utensils provided. There is a breakfast bar with chairs for dining with a mounted TV and blue tooth music  system.   The bedroom has bunk beds (the top one designed for kids) and the compact shower room also has a sink, toilet and heated towel rail for a bit of extra comfort.   Each pod  is fully insulated, double glazed and has underfloor heating to keep you cosy all year round.

All bed linen and towels are provided, and lots of thought has gone into adding touches like hanging areas for clothes, shaving mirrors and welcome packs with biscuits and snacks.

Each pod has its own patio with a barbecue (stock up in Dumfries) and bench seating – where better to sit back and enjoy the stunning views or admire star-studded skies on clear nights? Or perhaps you would prefer the sheltered seating in front of the pods, cosy spots where you can enjoy an early morning cuppa as the sun rises or a little nightcap after sundown?

Your gear is taken care of too, with a secure storage unit for any bikes, fishing equipment and walking shoes.
