Two gorgeous self contained yurts with kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Ty Crwn Bach Idris is a very comfortable yurt with spectacular views which can easily accommodate four people. It has a double bed and a double sofa bed. It is beautifully furnished with lovely linens, wall hangings, rugs and fairy lights creating a warm and magical space. There is a wood burning stove in the yurt which heats up the space very quickly. The yurt is light and airy with a clear round glass opening window in the roof and a south facing stable door to help keep things cool on sunny days and hot summer nights. The floor and walls are insulated so it's toasty even in the coldest of winters. The covered deck outside the yurt provides somewhere sheltered to sit and enjoy the BBQ or the fire pit, although there are grassy areas to use if you would prefer. There is also a BBQ and a fire pit.
Ty Crwn Mawr is a very comfortable yurt with spectacular views which can easily accommodate six people. It has a king size bed and four single futon beds and a couple of chairs. It is beautifully furnished with lovely linens, wall hangings, rugs and fairy lights creating a warm and magical space. Right next to the yurt are an outside cooking area, compost toilet and outdoor shower cubicle. There is a secluded seating area and fire pit/BBQ to the south of the yurt. There is a wood burning stove in the yurt which heats up the space very quickly. All pots/pans, crockery and cutlery, mugs and glasses are provided. We simply ask that you wash them before you leave. The yurt is light and airy with a clear round window in the roof and a north facing door to help keep things cool on sunny days and hot summer nights. The floor and walls are insulated so it's toasty even in the coldest of winters.
The log cabin near the small yurt contains a full kitchen (including gas cooker, electric fridge, toaster, sink with hot and cold water), dining area and shower room with power shower, flushing toilet and sink. There is another smaller kitchenette and shower room with compost by the bigger yurt.
There are standard electrical sockets in the yurt and low energy lighting there and in the bathroom/kitchen which all run off renewable energy sources. So by staying in Ty Crwn Bach Idris you will be doing your bit to reduce pollution and carbon emissions.
WiFi internet is provided at no extra cost but due to our very rural location the internet can sometimes be a bit temperamental!
Towels and hand soap are provided. Washing up liquid, tea towels, dish cloths are provided.
Bed linen, pillows and duvets are supplied for all beds as required.
Pans, crockery, cutlery, mugs, glasses etc all provided but we do ask that you wash up and leave them clean as you found them on your arrival.
A well behaved and fully house trained puppy/dog(s) will be allowed by prior arrangement and agreement only. There will be an extra charge of £5/night/dog which will be taken care of by altering the reservation. There are further terms and conditions that you will need your agreement. DO NOT BOOK UNTIL YOU HAVE OBTAINED OUR EXPRESS AGREEMENT TO BRING YOUR DOG(S).

The yurts isareset well apart from the main house and each other.
You will have your privacy but we are only too happy to chat, help, spend time, advise on places to go, things to do, where to walk etc. Apparently we are very approachable!
Feel free to play guitars, drums, or to sing your heart out if you are musically inclined. Enjoy the space but please be mindful of other guests and your hosts in terms of noise levels.
You are welcome to quietly enjoy the land, sit by the pond and generally make yourselves at home. If we are enjoying our private spaces in our garden please do be mindful of us in terms of noise levels and our privacy. Especially if you are bringing kids with you!! We are all for having some fun and if you ask us we’ll generally be happy for you to hang out with us but sometimes we like our own space too.

Our water is from a mountain spring, unpolluted and energised... pure medicine!
We produce all our own electricity from renewable sources including the sun, wind and rain.
Internet access is available if needed and we enjoy many other mod cons like a fridge, toaster, oven, washing machine and dishwasher but try to upsize and reuse as much as possible.
We hope to inspire others that living off grid can be comfortable and easy. A happy and fulfilling lifestyle doesn't have to cost the Earth!
Wet wipes and single use plastic bottles (specifically water) are banned on site. Please consider our environment and purchase a multi-use water bottle before visiting.
Do bring your own torches/lamps for use outside the yurt and matches/lighter to light the stove/bbq/fire pit/gas hob. You will need to supply your own charcoal for the BBQ or if you request it in advance we can arrange that for you.
Noise levels to be minimised after 11pm. Prior to that, singing, acoustic instruments or a little low level amplified music is fine (small bluetooth speaker etc) providing you OK it with any other guests and with us beforehand. If it’s disturbing anyone then it’ll have to stop.
Nearby
Greener Glamping sustainable yurt glampsite nestles deep in Cynwyd Forest high in the Berwyn Mountains above the Dee Valley in North Wales and is a fantastic place to get away from it all, unwind, destress, get back to nature and rediscover the simple things in life.
Only an hour or so from Manchester, Liverpool or Birmingham. It's easy to get here...but you won't want to leave!
Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is on the doorstep and Snowdonia National Park just 20 minutes away. There are too many attractions and activities to list that are within either walking distance or a short drive away.
Walking, cycling, climbing, white water rafting, archery, gorge walking, zip lines, underground trampolines (really!), kayaking, canoeing, surfing, sailing, kite-surfing and so on and so on and so on!
On the North Berwyn Way walking route. We have OS maps covering the whole of North Wales and along with some walking guidebooks these can be borrowed if you leave us a small returnable deposit.
Much of North Wales and especially the Berwyn mountains are associated with King Arthur and many other Welsh legends and celtic mythology.
This is an ancient and special land where nature and spirit are within easy reach when you choose them.
Food & Drink
There is a pub serving food and drink in the village of Cynwyd 1 mile down the hill. There are numerous other excellent and award winning eateries in the surrounding villages and towns. Use Tripadvisor or just ask us for recommendations.
That said...there's little that beats cooking outside and we provide decent fire pits/bowls, BBQs and cooking equipment to do exactly that. If you don't fancy cooking al fresco then the fully equipped kitchens will see you right.
Need a left handed egg whisk or a foot operated masher? If we haven't got it we'll make it for you!
Rhug Organic Farm shop is just down the road and the post office in the village sells the basics.
3 miles away in Corwen you'll find the usual butchers, bakers and candle stick makers....along with a mini market and off licence.
There are Aldi, Coop, Tesco all within driving distance and the larger supermarkets deliver too.
