The Owner Says
A welcoming safari tent designed for relaxed family escapes, Hare's Hideout combines comfort, beautiful views and easy accessibility in one peaceful lakeside setting.
Sleeping up to five guests, this spacious safari tent is ideal for families looking to swap busy schedules for fresh air, open spaces and quality time together. From the covered decking, you can enjoy lovely views across the lake and surrounding countryside while listening to birdsong and watching the changing colours of the landscape throughout the day.
1 Double Bedroom, 1 Triple Bedroom (double with single bunk above). There is also small double futon sofa in the living area for lounging or alternative sleeping space. The log-burner keeps you snug on an evening (protected with a fireguard). Electricity, kettle, fridge, lighting & spare sockets for charging your own items. Wi-Fi on site is provided free of charge.
You will have use of the shared kitchen barn area where we provide each tent with it's own box of crockery/cutlery; there are plenty of pots, pans and utensils in here too. You may want to bring some extra camping chairs if you have them for sitting outside, although a wooden picnic table with benches is provided, along with a BBQ (so you'll just need to bring your own charcoal).
Delightful, underfloor-heated washrooms (ladies, gents & accessible) are on hand with everything you need (just bring your own towels or hire from us).
Hare's Hideout benefits from sloped access to the decking area, making it one of our most accessible glamping options. Inside, you'll find all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay, while outside there's plenty of space for family meals, board games and simply enjoying the slower pace of life.
Whether you're exploring the local area or spending your entire stay by the lake, Hare's Hideout provides the perfect base for making cherished family memories.
