The Owner Says
Escape to your own magical hideaway beneath the stars.
Starry Skies is a cosy and unique yurt retreat, perfect for romantic getaways and family adventures alike. With a comfortable double bed, two pull-out single futons and the charm of sleeping together in one beautiful circular space, it's a place where memories are made and everyday life feels a world away. The log-burner keeps you super-snug on an evening (protected with a fireguard). Wooden door, with chain lock from the inside. Electricity, kettle, fridge, lighting; all makes this an easy getaway.
You will have use of the shared kitchen barn area where we provide each tent with it's own box of crockery/cutlery; there are plenty of pots, pans and utensils in here too. You may want to bring some extra camping chairs if you have them for sitting outside, although a wooden picnic table with benches is provided, along with a BBQ (so you'll just need to bring your own charcoal).
Delightful, underfloor-heated washrooms (ladies, gents & accessible) are just a short walk away with everything you need (just bring your own towels or hire from us).
Wake to birdsong, spend your days exploring Kingfisher Lakes, and as darkness falls, gaze up at the night sky from your peaceful countryside setting. Whether you're enjoying a romantic break for two or introducing little ones to the magic of glamping, Starry Skies offers the perfect blend of comfort, adventure and relaxation.
There's something wonderfully special about yurt life; slower mornings, quality time together and evenings filled with laughter, stories and stargazing.
