The Owner Says

The Coach House at the Walled Garden is the original stable for the adjacent Nelson House and has been beautifully reimagined to create a wonderful holiday experience for guests. What is completely unique is the house's setting within a 200 year old walled kitchen garden. Once you set foot within the walls it is like the land that time forgot - a feeling of sanctuary that is both peaceful and inspiring.  Full of period charm and botanical inspiration the coach house is the perfect place and to relax and slow down. In the summer the house seamlessly connects to the garden terraces with french doors across the entire facade. In Winter sink into large velvet sofas in front of the woodburner while playing a board game or watching a film. The large kitchen dining room is fully equipped and the perfect space to come together to cook and celebrate. There is a large farmhouse table which comfortably seats 8. The doors open out to the mediterranean garden - the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or a cocktail. The living room has a smart TV and beautiful wood-burning stove.
Upstairs there are 4 charming bedrooms configured to sleep 7 adults & 2 cots. Hotel quality linen, high quality mattresses and blackout curtains ensure you will wake up feeling fully rested. The stunning master suite features a king bed, picture window across the garden and a luxury marble clad bathroom with walk-in shower and freestanding bath. The master suite can be accessed by it's own spiral staircase and has a private roof terrace. The three further bedrooms are configured as 1 King, 1 Double and 1 Small Double. All feature glorious views of the garden and landscape and share a family bathroom. The garden has a range of areas to explore. Enjoy a morning coffee by the calming waters of the rill and paradise pool, sunbathing on the lush terrace lawns, listening to the chorus of bees in the mediterranean garden or creating a feast on the gas BBQ to eat the large marble table.
