Fisherground Campsite Terms & Conditions
Bookings will only be accepted from customers over the age of 21. We do not allow large parties, single-sex groups of more than 4, stag / hen groups or similar. Please call for clarification if unsure or you are wanting to book for multiple pitches. Fisherground Campsite reserves the right to refuse bookings should they be inappropriate for the site and may refuse admission or ask people to leave if any aspect of the booking has been misrepresented. (School and DofE groups exemptions apply).
- There is a strict quiet period between 10.30pm & 8am. In order to ensure everyone's enjoyment, Music must be kept at a low volume during the day and turned off completely by10.00pm, we do not allow use of large screen projectors on site. Please close car doors/boots quietly. We expect campers to please respect others. We therefore reserve the right to ask any customer whose conduct is in anyway detrimental to other people to leave without refund.
- One tent per pitch. Ensure you book the correct pitches for every unit you are bringing
- The number of people staying in any unit must not exceed the maximum number allowed.
- Display tent/van tag where it can be seen at all times
- Observe the 5mph speed limit across the whole site
- Please do not continuously run your vehicle engine whilst on site or drive around site between 9.00pm - 8.00am
- Only wood must be burnt in the fire pits and please do not put anything hot on the grass. BBQ's must be at least 12 inches off the ground.
- Children are the responsibility of the parent/guardian and must be respectful to other campers and follow site rules.
- We only collect domestic waste on the campsite so please ensure that you take broken chairs, gazebos, airbeds, etc home with you.
- No projectors, water balloons, flying of drones, fireworks, Chinese lanterns or generators are permitted on site.
- Please note we are a dark sky area so please be mindful of using very bright lights after dark and turn off/dim lights after 10.30pm
- Vehicles are not allowed on the grass in the main camping fields.
- NB. Limited WiFi signal in the local area.
Arrival & Departure Times
Customers are required to report to reception on arrival to book in and pay any balances due prior to pitching up. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ALLOW ENOUGH TRAVEL TIME ESPECIALLY AT BUSY HOLIDAY PERIODS.
- Pitches are available from 2:00pm on day of arrival and must be vacated before 11:00am on day of departure. Late departures may incur an additional charge. Space permitting, you may be able to extend departure time to 4pm for an additional £5 per pitch. Check with site office.
- Latest check in time is 7:00pm.
- The entry barrier is opened at 8.00am and closed at 9.00pm daily. Anyone arriving or leaving outside of these times will be asked to park in the visitors parking area and enter/exit the site via the foot path.
Minimum Booking Requirements & Pitches
- Minimum 2 nights at weekend during summer school holiday season.
- Minimum 3 nights over a bank holiday weekend.
NB: The basic price of your pitch includes: one adult, + one tent/campervan/roof top/motorhome or trailer tent. EHU pitches include the hook up. NB. We cannot accept caravans on site.
The following incur an additional charge.
Additional people,
all vehicles not on an EHU pitch,
pup tents,
gazebos,
tarps,
awnings,
porches,
event shelters,
pets,
trailers.
If you are on an electric Hook Up please make sure you have a lead of at least 25m.
We allow 2 wind breakers only per unit/group free of charge but ask that they are erected with curtesy and only within your allocated area. Contact us should you need any clarification.
Group bookings may only be made after telephoning the Site
Deposits, Changes to Bookings & Cancellations
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance payable on arrival at site. No booking is confirmed until the deposit has been paid.
The total booking fee will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Any changes and/or amendments to any bookings will incur an administration fee of £10.00 per change.
If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking you must let us know by email or in writing as soon as possible. Your booking will be cancelled with effect from the day we receive your email or written notification, subject to us deducting cancellation charges as set out below.
To clarify, this includes where you cancel your booking for any reason outside of your reasonable control, including without limitation, inclement weather and illness.
We strongly recommend you take out holiday insurance to compensate you in these circumstances.

Fisherground Campsite are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your Booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall include (but will not be limited to) war, terrorism, serious crime, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics or such similar events ("Force Majeure").
We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover your holiday.
If the customer chooses to leave the site early for any reason, fees paid will be non-refundable. Should adverse weather conditions result in the site cancelling the customers booking, a full refund will be made as soon as possible.
Long stay visitors
In order to maintain the health of the grass, we will require campers to move their tents after each 7 day period. A pitch to the side will be kept open to make this move as easy as possible and site staff will be on hand to offer you assistance.
Pets
BBQs & Campfires
Campfires are currently permitted be we do insist that fires are only lit within the in-situ fire pits, and children and pets are well supervised around the fire. Only wood must be burnt in the firepits. Logs and kindling are available on site. Charcoal BBQ’s for the purposes of cooking are allowed on site if safely raised off the ground by at least 12 inches.Parking
No vehicles are allowed on the grass in the main camping fields. Vehicles not on an EHU pitch are an additional fee. Extra vehicles may be required to be parked in a separate area. Work vans are permitted but may be asked to park in a separate area.Liabilities
Fisherground Campsite do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to the property of any customer, including personal belongings, cash, jewellery and motor vehicles, however caused. As with all holidays, home or abroad, you should take out travel insurance to cover any eventualities.Disclaimer
Fisherground Campsite reserves the right to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time.
