Roundwood is the perfect destination for your visit to Norfolk and your home away from home - situated in the woodlands of the Wensum Valley. We are pleased to offer you the option of our House, suitable for up to 10 guests and the campsite boasting 17 pitches all with EHU and water nearby.

Alongside the accommodation, we have our clubhouse with a spacious café and bar; pool table and darts board; and small shop selling a few camping essentials. Our hand-made Barista coffees go down a treat in the morning or why not treat yourself to a pint or chilled glass of wine from our well-stocked bar after a day out. We have air-conditioning too! Our café serves a selection of homemade cakes and a small menu of light bites. We’ll even deliver freshly baked pastries to your tent or door in the morning if you order them the previous evening. Our visitors are often captivated by the 6-lane indoor bowls rink that can be viewed from our café area. Guests can enjoy watching the ‘experts’ play or choose to give it a go themselves in the social play sessions.

In the Dell camping area we have a barn providing you with a sheltered area to socialise when the weather is wet or you just want to be under cover. Also contained within the barn, we have a table tennis table, giant chess, seating and other games as well as mobile charging points – in our converted red phone box. New for 2025, we now have a covered kitchen area for food preparation, complete with communal fridges/freezers, located next to the barn.

Roundwood House is open for bookings all year round. Check-in days are Mondays and Fridays and we offer stays from 2-28 nights. We open the campsite to general bookings during May half term and the school summer holidays. At other times of the year, we are delighted to welcome exclusive group bookings for those special occasions and events – including weddings, parties, corporate away days or corporate parties, retreats and more…

Whether you’re staying on our campsite or in the house, we can help with catering – our kitchen can organise food packages, BBQs, packed lunches, so do chat to us about how we can help make your stay one to remember.

Well behaved dogs are welcome across all areas at Roundwood – we just ask they are kept on a lead when not in the house/your tent.

Booking Policy

  • Camping Pitches will be allocated on arrival.
  • At least one member of the booking party must be 18 years or over. All persons under the age of 18 should be accompanied by a parent/guardian
  • Arrival from 3pm. No arrivals after 8pm
  • Departure by 12pm (11am for Roundwood House bookings)
  • Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads and supervised at all times. We do not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act
  • Cars are not permitted on the campsite
  • Quiet hours must be respected between 10 pm and 8 am
  • The site has a function room used for weddings/parties mainly at weekends. This is separate from the campsite, but the nature of noise means that we can’t guarantee that noise from these events will not travel. Music finishes at 12am with people leaving by 12:30am.
  • Campsite: For adult-only bookings of more than 6 adults; group bookings of more than 3 pitches or exclusive hire of all/part of the site, please contact us directly

Cancellation Policy

  • Bookings are not weather-dependent. If you decide not to visit Roundwood or to leave early during your stay due to the inclement weather, you will still be liable for the full balance of your stay
  • Your deposit is non-refundable or transferable
  • The balance of your holiday is due 28 days prior to arrival
  • Cancellations within 28 days of the start of your holiday are still subject to 100% fees
  • Cancellations prior to this will forfeit the deposit. All cancellations should be made in writing to Roundwood.
  • Amendments to bookings will only be considered more than 28 days before the start of your holiday. These will be subject to availability.
  • The inability or disinclination of a guest to travel does not give rise to a right to a refund. We strongly advise that you take out travel insurance to protect against an event. If you do not take out travel insurance, you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur.
