Fieldhead Campsite is in the centre of Edale village at the foot of Kinder Scout and at the start (or Southern end) of the Pennine Way. Giving perfect access onto the fells for walkers and cyclists. We are a small 45 pitch campsite around the back of the Peak District National Park Moorland Centre.
If being outdoors is what your interested in then we are the place for you. We are a quiet site that welcomes everyone that wants to experience the outdoors whether that be climbing, hill walking, mountain biking or just sitting outside reading a book to get away from it all. There is limited signal onsite so you can really escape from the hustle bustle of the outside world and holiday in peace. The area has plenty to offer, with amazing walks for all, beautiful scenery and a range of amenities including pubs and cafes.
We are a quiet site set in the centre of a small village, people stay here for the peace and tranquil atmosphere so we do expect noise to be kept as a minimum. Please note:
We cannot accommodate large family or friend groups (over 5 adults).
Organised groups such as DofE welcome but please contact us direct.
Campers must be quiet after 10.30pm until 7.30am in the morning, and no loud music to played on site at all.
Strictly no fires. No disposable or charcoal BBQ's allowed (gas stoves are accepted).
Arrivals from 2 - 8pm. Depart by 10.30am.

Booking Policy
- Arrivals are from 2pm - 8pm and departure is before 10.30am (unless an early arrival or late checkout is pre-booked)
- We are a quiet site, strict quiet time between 10.30pm - 7.30am and no amplified music on site
- Cars must be booked at the time of your booking, due to limited parking onsite
- Please state tent size. Large tents of 5 metres+ must be selected as an extra (max size 6.5m)
- Dogs welcome, there is an additional charge for dogs and they must be kept on a lead at all times and cleaned up after
- Children must be supervised at all times
- A minimum of two-nights is bookable during the summer weekends and three-nights min over bank holidays
- Group bookings can only be accepted from organised groups by contacting the site directly, we cannot accept large family or friend groups. The site is not suitable for parties, we may refuse to allow your group access and reserve to right to ask you to leave

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 30 days before the holiday start date will be subject to your 30% non-refundable deposit paid
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the holiday start date will not be refunded
- We suggest you take out the necessary holiday insurance to cover any losses
