The Beau & Bell campsite is nestled in a peaceful corner of Cricketing Bottom, South Farm. Situated within the South Downs National Park we are fortunate enough to be surrounded by beautiful downland, close to the historic town of Lewes, and only 5 miles from the stunning Sussex coastline.
Our bell tents are fully furnished with plush bedding, soft flooring, bedside tables, soft lighting, a fire pit and a picnic table. There are just 10 bell tents which will be on the campsite all summer plus a communal large bell tent for relaxing in. We do not permit campervans, caravans or bring your own tents.
A short walk from the campsite along the South Downs Way brings you to the quaint village of Rodmell where you can enjoy a drink or a meal at the wonderful Abergavenny Arms. Continue along the South Downs National Park towards Alfriston or Black Cap.If you're after a little bit of luxury, peace and quiet, gorgeous sunsets, stargazing, campfires, walks on the South Downs, paddleboarding/kayaking on the River Cuckmere, visits to the coast, Brighton, and the historic town of Lewes, then come and stay with Beau & Bell at South Farm.

Our beautiful 5m cotton canvas bell tent is one of just 10 on our campsite. Each bell tent is fully furnished and has a firepit and picnic table. Our bell tent is a comfortable living space for 4 people (they can accommodate up to 1 extra bed, subject to availability).

Booking Policy
Beau and Bell at South Farm
- Minimum 2 night stay (unless prior agreement with owners)
- Cancellation fees apply.
- Check from 14:00 until 18:00 (19:00 on Fridays)
- Check out by 10:00.
- Linen, pillows, duvets are provided; please note campers will need to bring their own towels and tea towels
- All bell tents have 4 beds (1 double/2 singles) for 4 people. An extra single bed is charged at £25 per night. Maximum 5 people per bell tent.
- Well behaved dogs are welcome. They must be kept on a lead near livestock and dog mess cleared up.
- All bookings are subject to Government COVID-19 guidelines
- If you are booking for a large group, please email us before booking so we can discuss your needs.
- A deposit is taken in case of damage to furnishings.
Cancellation Policy
- If you cancel more than 4 weeks before your arrival date you will lose 50% of the total payment.
- If you cancel less than 4 weeks before your arrival date you will lose your full payment.
- If you book via a third party organisation (such as Hipcamp) and not directly via our website they may have additional terms and conditions related to your booking. We are only able to apply our refund policy to the portion of the booking fee we receive from the third party organisation and are not responsible for refunding any of their fees, commissions or charges.
