Ape Dale View is new for 2024 season, updating the Buzzard. It is a cosy cabin with a hot water supply, and incorporating a private cloakroom with composting toilet. Sleeping 2, with the option of a wood fired hot tub.

The Owner Says

Ape Dale View, as it's name suggests, is blessed with astounding views. With the option of wood fired hot tub, it's the ideal couples retreat. The addition of a log burner to cosy up in front of, continues the theme of romance. Whilst modern kitchen fitments (sink, fridge, electric hob, all cooking and dining equipment) to enable you to self cater. The cloakroom has a hot water supply and a composting toilet. An electric heater is in situ if required.
Outdoors there is a dedicated fire pit, picnic table and bench, and a veranda completes the opportunity for shelter to view the dark sky and stars, and for shade in the summer months. Ape Dale View has an optional wood fired hot tub, please see 'extras' for charges and booking.
A Honesty shop and self contained Wood fired Pizza hut are on site to provide variety of choice whilst self catering. Ape Dale View is a place to escape the pressures of life and relax.
 

About Lower Hill Campsite

Suitable For

Rita has dedicated pitches for tents, campervans and caravans. The Lower Hill Campsite is terraced to enable the variety of different pitch sizes. There is a dedicated field site for non-electric family sized tents with the option of group bookings. Rita welcomes well behaved dogs but requires them to be kept on a lead please, Lower Hill Campsite is situated on a working livestock farm with free range poultry and children. Adjoining the campsite are extensive rambling opportunities along the noted National Trust Wenlock Edge.

Nearby

The local market town of Much Wenlock, home of the modern Olympics, is a three mile walk away from the campsite, along the natural woodland of Wenlock Edge, Much Wenlock Tourist Information and Visitor Guide (visitmuchwenlock.co.uk). A fifteen minute drive takes you to the World Heritage site of Ironbridge, the birth of the Industrial Revolution. The ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums provide a diverse range of interactive activities for both adults and children, Welcome to The Ironbridge Gorge Museums - birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. The website 'Visit Shropshire' provides a great variety of information for you, Visit Shropshire - The official tourism website for Shropshire.

Telford (just fifteen minutes beyond Ironbridge) has many activities to offer, including a dry ski slope, a skating rink, a multi-plex cinema, and a large shopping centre.
