At Lower Hill Campsite, wood fires are a speciality. Your host Rita, has created a welcoming haven of stunning variety of accommodation for your relaxing breaks. From the fire pits of crackling logs, wood burning stoves, to the wood fired hot tubs that complement the Glamping accommodation, you can be sure of the warmth of welcome.

With the addition of a DIY wood fired Pizza oven in its own dedicated Pizza hut, cooking is an experience not to be missed at Lower Hill Campsite. The fire pit grills enable BBQs, toasted marshmallows are delicately flavoured by the wood smoke and popping corn is so much fun.

The facilities, for campers, caravans and glamping includes ample free showers and toilets. The Glamping accommodation includes 7 units with self-contained toilets. Two dedicated washing up stations are provided for camping and smaller glamping units.

The Honesty shop at Lower Hill Campsite stocks a variety of Wenlock Edge Farm meats for BBQs, free range eggs, as well as essential supplies for your convenience. Logs, kindling and firelighters are readily available from the Honesty shop, as are the campsite pink wheelbarrows to transport them in.

Booking Policy

Lower Hill Campsite has a strict, enforced policies as follows;

No music to be played after 10pm.

Quiet time from 11pm to 7am.

Pitches, units or individuals causing disruption will be asked to leave, at the owners discretion.

We do not accept bookings from groups of more than 2 people between the ages of 16 and 25 years (with the exception of D of E bookings, please call direct to book).

Arrival time for campers is 12pm. Departure time for campers is 11.30am.

Arrival time for glampers is 2pm. Departure time for glampers is 10.30am. (Late departure when available £5 extra)

Visitors are allowed on site from 11am – 9pm the same day, at an additional charge of; £1.50 per adult, £1.00 per child, £1.50 per car.

Well behaved dogs are welcome, to be kept on a lead please. There is an additional cost for dogs in the glamping units.

Bedding is inclusive in the price of some glamping units, hire of double and single sets available.

Cancellation Policy

Bookings can be rescheduled up to 1 week of arrival, at our discretion, subject to availability.

No refunds within a period of 2 weeks of arrival, exception could be made on the reletting of the unit, by Lower Hill Campsite, at our discretion.

A £5 administration fee will be applied against refunds for camping, caravans or motorhome pitches.

A £5 per £100 administration fee will be applied against refunds for glamping units.
