The Rotunda has 4 panoramic windows over looking the Ape Dale. A dedicated wood fired hot tub is included in the booking, as is all bedding.

The Owner Says

The Rotunda is ideal for larger, extended families or friends. It has an internal cloakroom, with a flushing toilet and hand basin with hot water. The Rotunda has two bedrooms, with capacity to sleep seven (1 double bed, 1 family room ) with bedding for 7 supplied. All cooking and dining equipment is provided, as is a fridge and hob. The living area has a TV, real log burner, relaxing settees (one bed settee) and additional table and chairs. Additional electric heating is available in the bedrooms. The wood fired hot tub is complemented by a covered seating and BBQ area.
Please note this is not suitable for lively late night parties due to close proximity to other glamping units.  The shower block is a short walk away, please use the paths provided.
A woodfired pizza oven set in its own hut, with pizzas available to purchase, is a recent complementary addition to Lower Hill Campsite. The onsite Honesty shop is well stocked with BBQ essentials, free range eggs and a variety of other essentials.

Suitable For

Rita has dedicated pitches for tents, campervans and caravans. The Lower Hill Campsite is terraced to enable the variety of different pitch sizes. There is a dedicated field site for non-electric family sized tents with the option of group bookings. Rita welcomes well behaved dogs but requires them to be kept on a lead please, Lower Hill Campsite is situated on a working livestock farm with free range poultry and children. Adjoining the campsite are extensive rambling opportunities along the noted National Trust Wenlock Edge.

Nearby

The local market town of Much Wenlock, home of the modern Olympics, is a three mile walk away from the campsite, along the natural woodland of Wenlock Edge, Much Wenlock Tourist Information and Visitor Guide (visitmuchwenlock.co.uk). A fifteen minute drive takes you to the World Heritage site of Ironbridge, the birth of the Industrial Revolution. The ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums provide a diverse range of interactive activities for both adults and children, Welcome to The Ironbridge Gorge Museums - birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. The website 'Visit Shropshire' provides a great variety of information for you, Visit Shropshire - The official tourism website for Shropshire.

Telford (just fifteen minutes beyond Ironbridge) has many activities to offer, including a dry ski slope, a skating rink, a multi-plex cinema, and a large shopping centre.
