Our shepherd's hut has been lovingly hand-built and comes complete with a wood-burning stove and everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. It is designed for 2 people to sleep in the double bed and this will be most comfortable. There is the facility to covert the dining area in to an extra bed, we would only really recommend this for kids.

Level circular pitch measuring 12-15m in diameter, making plenty of room for 1-2 tents. Surrounded by a combination of native saplings and shrubs, planted in 2022/23 with many donated by the Woodland Trust. They comprise: hazel; silver and downy birch; rowan; dogwood; dog rose; oak; crab apple and alder.

About Ffosygrafel Isaf Camping

We pride ourselves on being an environmentally friendly site with low impact tourism at its core. Our facilities are hand built using local and reclaimed materials powered by renewable energy. Find us in beautiful mid Wales, close to the sea and the hills.

Booking Policy

  • Check-in for camping and campervans is 14:00 - 19:00 (If you expect to arrive later than this, please let us know)
  • Check-out for pitches is 11:00
  • Check-in for the Shepherd's Hut is 15:00 - 21:00
  • Check-out for the Shepherd's Hut is 10:00
  • If you are staying in the Shepherd's Hut, all linen and towels are provided
  • Well-behaved dogs are permitted on our campsite; keep them on a lead at all times and clean up after them
  • Pets are not permitted in the Shepherd's Hut
  • This is a quiet campsite; please keep noise to a minimum between 22:00 and 08:00
  • We have a stream and two ponds, as well a small quarry.  Ensure children are supervised at all times
  • We have a large communal campfire on site; other campfires are not permitted
  • Disposable BBQs are not permitted on site, other BBQs are welcome providing they are kept raised to protect the ground beneath
  • Please be aware there are no bins on site - you will need to take your waste away with you

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the holiday start date will be subject to your 30% non-refundable deposit being paid.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the holiday start date will not be refunded.
  • We suggest you take out the necessary holiday insurance to cover any losses.
