Food & Drink
There's a farm shop on site specialising in local and organic produce. Ken can make a loaf of flower pot bread to order. A couple of miles down the road lies The Daffodil Inn (01559 370343) at Penrhiwllan, a cracking gastropub (listed in the Michelin Guide) with stunning views of the Teifi Valley countryside from its dining room. Teifi Cheese Farm is very nearby and is a lovely place to stock up on local cheese and buy award winning botanical and seaweed gin from their organic distillery (book to go on a distillery tour). Cardigan is a great place to eat in. Buy local crab and other delicacies from the Tuesday Market in St Dogmaels then eat at Pizza Tipi, Crwst, Bara Menyn (amazing sour dough) and El Salsa Mexican street food (you might need a couple of trips!). Fantastic fresh organic vegetables are grown at Glebelands Market Garden (Thurs-Sat) at St Dogmaels. There is a very nice well stocked village shop at Penrhiwllan Stores.
