Cowpots Camping

Situated on Pen Back Farm, Cowpots Camping offer 16 ensuite pitches for camping in the countryside. We call the lower camping field “Tree Field” because it has a beautiful fallen Welsh Oak tree in the middle of it. It is a huge 11-acre field, the same size as the roof that covers Wembley stadium! This field has only eight ensuite camping pitches and two ensuite campervan pitches. Accessed by a farm track and 600m away from the farm buildings you’ll be sure to find some peace and quiet in the countryside, surrounded by nature. Our new camping fields are called Middle Field and 4 Acre Field. Adding another seven acres to our campsite! In 2021 we opened up even more fields for walking, so all our campers now have access to another five fields, 40 acres of woodland and a new designated dog walking field. Pen Back Farm is on the border of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire so we have excellent access to the delights and sights of both counties and we are only 15 minutes away from the closest beach. Please note we have a one-night minimum stay for camping and a 2 night minimum stay for glamping.
No arrivals on Tuesday and Sunday.

Booking Policy


  • We do not provide bedding in any of our Glamping units, please bring all bedding.
  • A £50 despot is required for your stay with us at Cowpots. This is secured on your arrival day and release the day after you leave. This deposit covers any damages made to the pitches, furniture or Glamping units. It may also be used to cover any significant mess or rubbish left behind on your pitch. We would never take a security deposit without first communicating a potential problem with you first.
  • Dogs on leads all the time. Failure to do so may result in us asking you to leave. Dogs are allowed off the lead in our dog walking field only.
  • Strictly no amplified music permitted.
  • There is no driving to tent pitches in Tree Field, wheel barrows provided
  •  Top Track Pitches have drive on parking, please do not drive or park on the grass.
  • Check in 3pm.
  • Check out 11am. (Late check out 1pm)
  • After 10pm we expect the site to be quiet for our customers to sleep

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations are non refundable.
  • We strongly advise that you take out holiday insurance, in doing so you will give yourself peace of mind should you have to cancel your holiday with us last minute.
  • Moving your dates - you have flexibility to move the dates of your holiday up to 60 days before arrival. If you would like to move your dates to the following season there is a £30 admin fee and there may be additional fees if the rates have changed.
  • Bookings for stays in October 2025 have the flexibility to move to other dates in October or to April 2026 if the weather is bad. We will need 48 hours notice to allow you to move dates. Requests after this time will not be moved. Not applicable to the Wild Spa or Cabin.
