It’s a truly special experience to lie gazing up at the night sky through the central roof wheel of one of our hand-crafted traditional Mongolian yurts. Each one is a thing of beauty, they are fully furnished and comfortably sleep four, in a main double bed and two single futons, each with an extra mattress plus mattress topper for super comfort.

About Stackpole Under the Stars

Our family-run, family-friendly campsite is like a little green oasis, tucked away behind woodland in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park , and yet only 10 minutes’ drive from the historic town of Pembroke. It’s the best of both worlds. If you’re seeking a place to unwind, in a quiet rural location but within easy reach of what others may call ‘civilisation’, we think you’ll love it.
We look forward to hosting you for your camping and glamping holidays here in Stackpole. However long you choose to stay, and whether you’re in your own tent, camper or caravan or relaxing in our glamping accommodation, you’ll share experiences that will last a lifetime.

Booking Policy

  • Check in 1pm / Check out 11am (Camping).
  • Check in 4.30pm / Check out 9.30am (Glamping).
  • There is no last check-in time but please notify us if you plan to arrive after 9pm.
  • Our guests choose our campsite as it is small and family-friendly & for the quiet enjoyment of nature, please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm (and before 7.30am), or you will be asked leave without a refund.
  • Please note we do not allow pitch-side parking (see Terms and Conditions for parking arrangements).
  • We welcome well behaved dogs on leads (see Terms and Conditions for full info on dogs).
  • We do not allow disposable barbecues, and we reserve the right to temporarily ban open flames if we deem there to be a serious safety risk e.g. in extreme weather conditions (e.g. strong wind or heat) (see Terms and Conditions for full info on campfires/BBQs).

    • Cancellation Policy

    • A 50% conditionally-refundable deposit secures your camping or glamping pitch booking.
    • The balance is requested 4 weeks before your stay. If you cancel more than 4 weeks before your stay we may be able to offer you alternative dates. If this is not possible we keep the 50% deposit and you are not required to pay the balance.
    • If you cancel within 4 weeks of your stay and we can re-let your pitch, we keep the deposit but you are not required to pay the balance.
    • If we cannot re-let your pitch, no refund will be made (we retain full payment). If you cancel within 7 days of your stay, no refund is made.
    • Stackpole Under The Stars is not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the unlikely event of extenuating circumstances beyond our control. In the unlikely event of such circumstances, you will not receive a refund but we may be able to offer alternative dates or, in certain circumstances, gift vouchers.
