About Covert Farm Camping
Suitable For
Our beautiful site is suitable for anyone from couples wanting a quiet getaway and unwind from everyday life to families looking to give their children the 'Pembrokeshire' experience, be it adventure parks, zoos or stunning views.
Being on a site of special scientific interest and also in the heart of the national park, we are often visited by bird watchers, nature lovers and walkers who are looking to set up base somewhere central to the coastal paths.
Nearby
No more than 15 minutes' drive (handy if you have less-than-patient kids) will take you to an excellent range of family and sandy days out near the farm: take your pick from beach and paddling days, boat trips, wildlife adventures, amusement parks, castles… and a dinosaur park.
Saundersfoot (10 minutes' drive away) is, along with Tenby, one of the most visited holiday spots in Wales, home to an award-wining beach and the Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo. Another award-wining beach is at Tenby, along with the ruins of Tenby Castle, boat trips to Caldey Island and the Tenby Dinosaur Park.
Two other famed Pembrokeshire theme parks are also within 10 minutes: Heatherton World of Activities and Oakwood Theme Park. Most kids should also clamour for a day at Manor House Wildlife Park, the only walking safari in Wales and home to exotic and endangered animals from around the world.
Then try and get your small sorts interested in a spot of history with ventures to Carew and Pembroke castles each within 10 minutes' drive: these are so splendid it might be easier than you think…
Food & Drink
Just up the lane is a family run Pub & Bistro serving great food. If takeaways are your thing then we have Indian, Chinese and traditional fish and chips just a short drive away. If you're looking for a romantic evening meal out then we've heard nothing but great reviews from our guests for The Stables restaurant in Tenby.
